Ah..interesting...that actually sounds more likely the issue I'm seeing...as when I cycle the controls I get it to work and blow cold no problem, but it doesn't default to that position....so I did some interwebbing on Blend Door Actuators and found this little segment about 'recalbrating' the... -

So my AC in my 2009 Tahoe, blows plenty cold, but not always on the driver side, but always on the Pass. side. I can temporary fix it by cranking the driver/pass temps is opposite directions several times, then everything goes back to normal.....Until I stop the truck, then it goes back to warm... -

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?
Whats the wheels size you can run with 14"?...(asking cause my snows are still on 17"...would like to see that change to 20" once the tires wear out or get sold) In my experience regarding brakes- the bigger the better. 14" with good rotors/pads should improve stoppage dramatically...- metelhead

Thanks Modded! I believe you are right...and even if they aren't worn (since I only have 7K on the truck) the LT shock either have way too much rebound on the front which is leading them to pack up or the valving is just off......it was pretty amazing what those 17" were soaking up...- metelhead

09 Tahoe....Bump steer after adding 20" on- help!
I recently added some 20" (oem wheels) from 17" and now when I hit bumps I get some pretty bad bump steer...I assume the is from the added weight of the wheels and lower profile tires. Now my truck only has 6500 miles, but it does not have Autoride, just standard LT shocks. Could it be the OE...- metelhead

1) bought 09 tahoe 2) joint this site 3) researched and asked lots of questions 4) bought and installed sway bar 5) bought wheels.....had them powdercoated...then changed my mind for something more unique 6) bought 2nd set of Wheels...had them powdercoated too...like these now...- metelhead

20" Yukon powdercoated wheels Ok- I final got my 20" Yukon wheels powdercoated a Matte black and added chrome chevy centercaps and lugs...they came out very nice! -

please report back on the different the front makes, I have the rear as well and have been thinking about getting the front as well, since the rear made such a good addition....but i have rear that the front is very min.- metelhead
