    Autozone CV axles are $90 and have a lifetime warranty. Thats whats on my truck.

    CV Axle boot torn!

    Just replace the CV. They are $90 from autozone and take 30 minutes to swap. The hassel of putting a new boot and greasing it up is not worth it.

    I never run 87, if anything, i have added octane booster to the 93.

    Front end popping, clanking, squeal.

    Swapped out the CV axle and found the old one to have little to no acticulation. It was also filled with sludge and water. It took longer to get the strut back in with the leveling kit than the actual shaft.

    Thanks for the info, should have stayed that did use a bar to check for up and down play. Thought maybe there way another way. As far as being positive, I had someone else drive my truck with me beside it. It was defiantly the passenger side. I am also looking into the rough country...

    Well, please feel free to inform me on the correct way sir. ---------- Post added at 04:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:51 PM ---------- Also checked for up and down movement as well. Ball joint did not have a lot of play in them.

    placed my jack under the ball joint and turned the wheel side to side. No issues.

I figured since everything is already torn down might as well replace the hub since I already got it and...
