Here are some interior pics. The vehicle is 5 hours north of me, of course. Smh. Lol.
Anything about the 2011s that are watch outs? Good? Bad?
Thanks again for all of the knowledge here.
Ok, gents…. I have another contender for the braintrust.
2011 Tahoe LTZ with 855xx miles and 3017 engine hours. One owner. 2 hairline cracks on front dash per usual. Car spent entire life in southern Indiana on border with Kentucky.
Interior is immaculate. Seats look like they were barely...
Came across a 2014 Yukon XL Denali with only 65k miles on it but the engine hours were at 3695. I feel that's a rather high amount of idling time for the age and low miles. A lot of stop and go traffic, it seems.... Thoughts?
Rough math tells me the avg speed was 17.6 mph.... unless I'm off on...
Welp, the dang Yukon was sold sight unseen.
Ultimately the distance was too much for me to overcome. Wasn’t going to buy it sight unseen.
I appreciate everyone’s opinions here!
The search continues….. and I did find:
There’s a 2013 Tahoe LTZ a couple of hours away with 52k miles and 2000...
Hey @Tonyv__ …. the dealer to send me a pic of the engine hours below. What would be the accurate number of hours for a vehicle with 42k miles? I’ve never been able to fully understand what would be suitable. Thanks!
Any idea what one would cost to convert over to coils and springs entirely to get out of the air shock aspect of a Yukon? I googled and saw a set for $750 for the parts. I’m not one to do this myself….
I honestly don’t know if it were garage kept. It was an auction vehicle the dealer bought. Unfortunately it’s too far away from me to swing by and inspect. There’s plenty of risk involved and I may just butt the bullet and go to see what’s what.
I just know myself and if I’m making a trip I’m...
and here are a couple more since it wouldn't let me upload any more than 5 (not the best of pics, but curious if your eagles eyes spot anything else....)
I appreciate everyone's feedback.... there's certainly a lot to consider with the knowledge shared. At some point, it becomes paralysis by analysis. Ha! I asked for some undercarriage pics (along with a close up of the cracked dash) and here's what was shared for what it's worth. I look forward...
Does the entire dash need to be replaced? I have read that the dash cracking can be common.... What's the estimated cost of that? What causes the cracking? Such an odd "issue" in these.....
I am finding that Tahoes/Yukon/Suburbans are either beat up pretty bad from this era or in "great" shape with low miles that one has to pay for. I'm not one to pick up a truck with 100k miles to save $5k where it looks to be pretty beat up on the inside.
Even those with 60-70k miles are asking...
New to the forum and have been on the hunt for a 12-14 Tahoe LTZ or Yukon Denali and came across a 14 Yukon Denali AWD with 42k miles. The ask is $30k.
it's got a clean carfax and 2 previous owners. The vehicle has spent its entire life in the south (Georgia). The truck really looks to be in...
