I used my stock retainers. I didn’t change my lifters they never have made a noise. Still to this day quiet as can be an this has been a while since I installed cam. An I recommend the Che trunnion kit with your stock rocker arms
Well it hasn’t done it again since I replaced the purge valve. That’s really weird and didn’t think it would cause a long crank. So this would be some good info for some ppl to have.
O yea. I can change it pretty fast lol. Only reason I did not was cuz it’s my daily an all I could get at the time was the precision pump. They had to order anything else
Yes thanks for the reply. I figured my switch has nothing to do with it. Just gonna throw the Delphi pump in an see if it helps. Regulator checked out. I did find that my purge valve was bad. Won’t hold vacumn. But that’s not the cause. Already changed it out.

Out of everything listed above I just slapped a truck Norris cam in from btr. Also did the .560 valve springs and che trunnion upgrade and hardened pushrods 7.425

U can use a 15 dollar air hammer if u got one. U put it against bolt an hit it an it will knock it lose. Or use a c clamp. Hook it on water pump pulley. Keep it from spinning.

No u just remove the bottom valance an have to cut some the frame horns off. I ended up getting rid of it didn’t wanna go through all the work. Ended up doing hd front end
