What’s up y’all. Just had some info about my rear main. I developed a leak at around 230k. I ran castrol bout the whole time I had it. Someone told me to switch to Mobil 1. Never again. After about 2 oil changes it started leaking like crazy. Switched back to castrol an the leak never went away...
Yes I did run the 4230 for a while. I ended up getting the 5305 an going with them. An the coils that touch at the top the dead ones. I cut a coil off. An I got about a 6 inch drop. I also have helper bags.
I have mcgaughy 2 inch spindles an 3/4 ton purple keys. My alignment guy said I’m bottomed out on the Camber but it’s perfect he said. If I went lower I’d have a problem. An I’m pretty low in the front.

I did a full led install on mine. How I check everything is take a square battery. Small one like for smoke alarm. Forgot the volt. But hook 2 alligator clips to it then touch it to the board I worked on to see if it lights up. Like touch them to the pads. U can troubleshoot that way. How I did...

I have some belltech 4230 for sale. The trail blazer springs. They have a coil cut off. It lowered mine a lot. I ran them with helper bags. Wanted to go even lower so I took them out.
I think u have to buy the whole shaft. I replaced my whole upper one. But not the lower. If that’s what your talking bout. The joint that connects to the gear box
