Tested the voltage @Doubeleive and battery @12.7V. Unfortunately the issue occurs with and without the Tahoe running. I wasn’t able to get to the speaker replacement today(enclosed trailer upgrade project, church, Texas heat...don’t play well together), so I wasn’t able to grease the...
Okay guys and gals, I need your help. The rear doors are randomly sticking and failing to unlock intermittently. Sometimes they will unlock (more prominently seen in the rear passenger door) and my daughter can get in without a problem, at other times, I’m required to lean the front seat back...
@93blkongreenpro She definitely looks good with her stance sitting in the driveway. Are those 24”s she’s wearing? Size wheels? Ride quality? Nice amplifiers installation as well.
That type of parasitic drain can be h-e-hockey sticks on batteries sometimes. I’d keep an eye on the charging system, or better yet see how much power is actually being pulled while the system aka SUV is in off mode. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident, good luck.
Also something to consider would be the width of the wheels that you are purchasing. The reason for running 305’s would be for a wider wheel—normally 11-12”..12 1/5 max with 305 as a minimum. The other information in regards to wheel height as you mentioned 40 vs 45 has already been stated by...
@kbuskill please post pics and a short DIY if you have time. Looks like $6 w/shipping beats out $226.95-although it is convenient lol. Good luck with the repair.
Another welcome to the forum from another fellow Texan. Tahoe looks very nice in the picture and a one owner, with those miles, score!! Congratulations!!
We have one switchblade remote w/key that has been bent “a little” from forgetting the dance and one switchblade remote w/key that is like new minus wear and tear from normal use.
The switchblade key will work but it’s a dance to push the button in and pull the remote towards you as you shift the handle. I’m speaking from experience...you also have to make sure the key is inserted the correct way, or you will bend the blade when you go to shift the handle into gear. You...
How much do you think you will have to pay for an OEM 22” set of snowflakes? I’ve been thinking about going that route also, only concern has been how much to pay for an OEM set of 22” wheels.
Good luck with selling your 20” set to help fund your 22”’s.
Can you @Ilikemtb999 give a link to the eBay seller for the flash logic unit you purchased? How’s the distance for remote starts? Thanks in advance for the information.
Honestly, you both are grown men. My mom always told me “words only hurt if you allow them to”. I read the complete thread and actually felt you came out on top financially and had the support of another trusted forum member who vouched for you. As a forum of sharing of knowledge, ideas...
A bit overkill in the replies. I can understand he may have felt offended but multiple posts, jabs at the person’s budget...went past setting the record straight perhaps. The good thing is that he was able to sell his vehicle for what he asked, and he didn’t lose out which is a blessing...
@Californian you’re a blessed man!! A son with patience, willing to learn and a wife who’s okay with the tear down and rebuild....WIN WIN WIN-SCORE!!!
It’s always a good feeling to work with your hands, gather knowledge, apply it and pass it on with these vehicles. Having knowledgeable...
Thanks @iamdub !! There’s a set on CL that I’m interested in and I didn’t want to make a mistake leading with my heart and not with my head—which meant they’d be back up for sale on CL by me a few days later.
I agree with @Doubeleive. Dye is definitely coming off. The good thing is that you can take your interior paint code to an upholstery shop and they should have some liquid or can/compressed dye you can spray on after prepping and taping the area. Good luck.
