So I just found out that you should change the pin as well to the longest pin to reduce play. Has anyone done that? I bought what was suppose to be the longest pin from ACDelco but when I pulled mine out they were exactly the same length. Mine had 2 grooves on the tip and the new one has no...
It sounds like you're having the same clunking issue as me. I first noticed it a few years ago after I had a leveling kit installed (2" spacers in the rear, 3" keys in the front) so I thought it might be because of that. Later on I figured it was ball joints/tie rods and they needed replaced...
I came across these things this weekend when I changed my ball joints. I don't know what kind of sick joke GM was going for, but I wasn't impressed... I finally ground the 4 tabs off and was able to knock it out with 3 blows
I had higher hopes for these things. I thought they would be similar to the ones on my brother's 99 Silverado which are hard plastic. It's no wonder my truck was missing them, they probably disintegrated 10 years ago! Is this really how the stock ones were?
Also, what's the deal with the cut out...
There's been two small wheel well panels on each side in the front missing since I purchased my 2004 Yukon. They're little skinny plastic pieces between the big wheel well molding and the bumper. Anyone know a part number for them or where to find them?
Thanks
ONE YEAR UPDATE:
It's a slow day at work so why not update my review?
This is still a great exhaust all around. It still sounds awesome and hasn't let me down on the performance side. It is starting to look a little rusty but I'm planning on painting the whole exhaust soon.
One thing I had to...
Okay new plan. I can't get this mirror to work (Although, recently everything on it did work one morning, including OnStar) so does anyone know if a mirror from a newer vehicle will work with my 2004? I'm looking at part number 15139492 for an 07-08 I believe. I know the rain sensor (I'm...
SOLVED (For real this time):
I took it to a mechanic and he found the voltage was correct at the plug. However, when he hooked up his scanner he was able to see the reading for the fuel composition sensor and it was at 0 hz and it should be at a minimum of 50 hz. He found that the plug for the...
Because I doubt that would solve my problem since I've tried 2 new sensors. Plus everything here has at least 10% ethanol now and I would imagine the flex fuel sensor adjusts for that too.
It looks like I spoke too soon. The code just started coming back right before my fuel pump died. I had the fuel pump replaced and the code is still constantly on. My theory now is that it could be the new high flow catalytic converters. Is that possible?
Who knew they made LEDs with built in resistors.. Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong. Any chance you know of some with flat heads with the same specs? I want to make sure I get the right ones with the resistors. Also, the flat head ones I've used have had perfect light output.
I think I just found part of the issue. R74 (Bottom in picture) is completely missing a component. That probably explains why the buttons don't light up. Is it possible to use something else to connect it? Like a resistor? No idea what was there originally.
