Update. Took her to the transmission shop. Nothing wrong. He took it for a drive and when he got back said “good news there is nothing wrong with that transmission. But, man, that is weird.” He suggested maybe a sticky u joint so I’ll be looking at that next.
Gotta say I really like that look. Those smoked headlights and the fact that they’re the sierra style I think really ties it all together. Looks sharp.
Cleaned and painted a couple of rust spots. Replaced another door actuator. Replaced both visors. IMMEDIATELY broke one of the visor receivers . Ordered another.
Pretty girl! I had a 95 and an 03. Be mindful of the manifold. Taken care of that motor will take a beating but the manifold is plastic and can crack with age. You’ll start hemorrhaging coolant literally before you know it and warp a head if you’re not careful.
So I’m a a Ford guy. Two f150. Two mustangs. The Terminator sound and performance is my benchmark. New to GM/Chevy. A KB/Whipple whine keeps me awake at night. How do you like the Procharger? Prochargers saw a lot of mustangs in the 90s. With varied results.
That second one I’ve followed. He’s done a ton of work to that truck. Looks fantastic but so few details. At least so far as I’ve found. You can find him on Instagram but very few details.
Today I replaced a driver’s side back door lock actuator, a passenger side back door window motor. Ordered a driver’s door lock actuator, which failed while replacing the one on the back door. lol. Also ordered new visors, which are finally failing.
How does Black Bear do in the rain? Probably a weird question but I live in Fl and afternoon floods are a thing. I got the Yukon for that, also to go off-road (4x4) and to haul people and camping supplies. But I like her competence in the rain and I don’t want to defeat that.
