    Noise

Thank you for trying to help, problem is I live in a small country where over 80% of cars are still stick shifts as you guys would say. There is just no need or demand for auto trans mechanics here. Ive had a place in England recommended to me but it’s 350 miles away and won’t be cheap

    Noise

2008 Denali After much confusion and changing pulleys/belts/water pump it seems the noise I have is transmission related.A bit of a wail on startup and it flares a bit on acceleration into 2nd gear and again a bit on downshifts but is silent when she warms up.Still drives perfectly. I am in...

    Noise

It’s standard left hand drive.Slight in and out play on power steering pulley, aircon disconnected no belt so it’s not that.Noise from pump(I think) seems too much for a fluid change to fix

    Noise

    2008 Denali alignment spec

Thank you for that. Absolutely no chance of my local garage knowing the stand specs. Having a Yukon Denali XL over here is only slightly less strange than rocking up in a flying saucer But then petrol(gas) is £1.30 a litre here........or about $6.50 a gallon

Control arms and ball joints advice

Thanks for the help guys. My own experience with a QUALITY aftermarket part is it’s usually better than OEM (Denali only has 74000 miles on it and is not driven at all hardor off road and never tows!) It’s finding that quality supply that’s tough
