Yep, still much prefer the looks of my Denali over the Escalade.

6.2L Rough idle and poor low RPM response

This. Finally got around to installing mine a couple weeks ago. So nice to not have to deal with the stop-start anymore.

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

If there were to be a TSB with measures to avoid this situation, what would it look like? What would need to be replaced to avoid these seizures?

    3rd row Power Fold Interference

This is some good info. Seems to me that when the salesman demo'd the 3rd-row folding, he ran into this problem. Sorry to thread-jack, but I'm guessing the OP et al might know the answer to this quick question: If I press both of the 3rd-row fold buttons at the same time, will both seats in...

Pirelli AS plus 3 vs Michelin Defenders LTX M/S

Yeah, that's where I am with the stock Bridgestones. And I've been in the rain with them, and some ice/light snow here in Philadelphia. I'm not suggesting that I will replace them with the same thing when they wear out, but I'm definitely have no reason to hate them right now. And as for the...

    22” Michelin Defenders?

Just a bump for you (and me)... I'd like to see these on black 22"s, too.

    Auto-dimming gauge cluster, HUD, infotainment

So, there's no way to change the THRESHOLD, is there? I've been finding recently that if it's a gloomy, cloudy day, and near sundown (but not there yet), then until my headlights eventually kick on, the various SWITCHES (not the DIC or main screen) remain unlit/dark and hard to see. No way to...

2023 How to Check Codes Without Scanner Inquiry

I don’t know the answer to your question, but can say that at least here in PA, Autozone (and maybe other similar places) will take their scanner out to your car and scan your codes for free. So, if making an appointment at a shop and cost concerns are a part of your question, maybe this info...

Show me your black wheel set-ups

Geez, I don't know off the top of my head. They're the factory ones that came on the truck. I see on here where people seem to hate them, but I haven't been able to fault them in 3200 miles.

Show me your black wheel set-ups

Looks great! And are you happy with your mud flaps? They look so good and "factory" that I'm reminded I need to get mine on my truck (assuming they'll look just as good and subtle as they do on yours).

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

The metallic flakes in the pic above aren't an indicator? Is that amount of flake "normal"?

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

I believe that. But can it show you that there IS a problem?

What did you do to your 21+ T1XX today?

Good stuff. I'd just advise anyone using the fishing-line method to keep the pressure on the line outward/away from the applique and against the back of the letters so as to avoid sawing the line across the applique's finish. (I'm sure you did just that, but think it's a good note of precaution...

1000 miles from home dead 2022 Denali

Dang, Hiebs. That’s terrible. And that’s what I was getting at all along— that it sounded like a BS initial diagnosis, and that it was likely going to be something much worse. Sorry about your troubles. I’ll be crossing my fingers that I don’t have the same issues with my truck!

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

Along with the metal flakes in the oil, were there any other warning signs (at least in retrospect) that the engine was going to fail?

1000 miles from home dead 2022 Denali

I’m not suggesting what you’re saying. I’m suggesting that the initial diagnosis of a lifter “tapping” is likely not what’s actually wrong (or the only thing wrong) with his truck, and am wondering if that initial diagnosis has since turned into something else. Btw, “knocking” isn’t “lifter...

1000 miles from home dead 2022 Denali

He stated that the service guy said it “sounds like” a lifter issue. And then he also said he’s waiting to hear what the deal is. Well, so am I. A lifter issue causing the dash lights to go out? That makes no sense. I had lifter ticking in my ‘09, and whereas it was annoying, it was also...

    Exploded Dash Diagram Needed

One thing you might be able to do is go to a parts site like gmpartsdirect.com, and search for that switch panel -- and then the site SHOULD give you an exploded view of that whole area of the dash. (If a search for that particular part doesn't yield an exploded view, maybe a more general part...
