this doesn't sound right. yeah, if there's no water flow across the radiator from a blockage, or somehow how the internal transmission cooler is blocked, it might explain why it's getting hot so fast and you don't have any tranny line pressure to engage the clutch packs for the gears.
that...
try jacking the rear up with the wheels off the ground let it idle in each gear for a bit. maybe see if it will shift thru some gears in drive.
if it's still topped off after that and won't move. I am not sure how but it might be hurt?
I had a line pop off a 96 blazer and it made a mess...
I'm pretty badly at finding rattles but if you got a rubber mallet. you can climb under and tap the exhaust with it. you might find your rattle.
hit the cats too, it's possible the brick inside comes loose and rattles around.
honestly it's probably voltage drop in wiring and ground more than actually hard parts.
hard to saw without hands on thou. how old is the battery?
if more then say 3 or 4 years, I'd replace it with winter coming and replace the postive and neg battery cables, clean up the ground while replacing
yeah, it's the hybrid cam that allows/requires the higher comp. a standard cam you'd need 93. the hybrid ecm tune is super reactive to retarding timing too but hptuners hasn't defined the adjustment for burst knock and anything besides the basic timing maps.
I sold my tahoe on here. it was a bit of a rare older 2 door and the had been looking for about 6 months and happened to be local. so might have been an outlier but it was much nicer than dealing with Facebook.
good luck.
front 2 corners there's a 18mm nut on a stud. back side has a bolt on each side. I believe 13mm? something like that. nothing else. Just pry it up to break it loose if it's never been out.
make sure the orange disconnect plug is removed. put on gloves if you don't feel comfortable. remove the...
there's definitely a 6.0 in a 2019 truck that wasn't direct injection. my buddy had one as a work truck. 2500. it was a good truck. don't think it made it into a suv thou. which is a shame. the direct injection is going to be nothing but a hassle as these engines get in the 200k plus range
I know you're not going to agree but this has been thoroughly explored on this site and others. do not bypass the radiator end tank cooler at any time. while I might add some heat on a cold day, the tranny Temps when used hard will always always he hotter than the cold side of the radiator end...
I don't believe running it with an unplugged injector for a bit hurt anything.
for the coil, if you unplugged it from the harness side it shouldn't hurt it. but I have heard of a coil going bad after running with a plug wire off it. spark has to find a place to go and I guess it can jump over...
honestly sounds like pump. what brand did you use?
I've had them run but not pump any fuel before. like said above. you'd had enough fuel issues that it's worth investing in a gauge and maybe some type of scanner.
with fly by wire stuff I don't even try to fix tb or pedal when they go into reduced power more. Just toss in a new oem of which the code says.
so far it's always fixed them.
on a side note I know there was a thread a few months back where a guy said the more he ran the idle relearn the...
I tried all that. replaced the hardware, greased all the sliders. even tried that old school spray on stuff. probably had the brakes apart 4 times. sometimes they just have a mind of their own.
going to the QS pads from Warner, which I believe is one of the last non race pad made in the USA...
my 2 cents is to start with the diode Dynamics fog lights. bit pricey but good for a drop in. and might be enough you don't worry about the head lights. personally I went with retrofit some bi-led driving lights into my fog lights. but it's a hassle and you don't gain anything on lo beam really...
it's all about mimicking the light itself coming from the same spot as the halogen bulb. hard to do with both led and hid bulbs. but some do much better than others. that's what to search for when researching what to buy. few good youtube channels test them.
the tb you replaced, was it from autozone?
we have seen a rash of bad parts. might just be you need a oem replacement tb.
I think there's also a idle learn or something like that for when you change throttle body's. they was a post around here somewhere a few months back.
if you buy oil by the qt it's all expensive. some of the liquid moly brand is well over 15$ a qt.
by the gal or those 5qt jugs is the only way. which of course is annoying when our trucks take almost 6 qt haha.
led bulbs in projectors meant for standard bulbs can be difficult. be careful cheap ones will scatter light everywhere. kinda brutal for oncoming drivers. some of the high end ones work pretty well, but you can spend over 200$ for a set of high end led drop ins. it's almost cheaper to open the...
I'm the other way around. I'd rather redo my own work 3 times than have to confront and argue with a shop even once.
I knew I should have taken my alignment back and made them put it on the rack in front of me. bit didn't have it in me and then forgot.
till I noticed the outside edge...
I fought with sequeling brakes for a while. the first one was a brand I've used on all kinds of stuff, but it was grabby and noisey on this truck. so I switched to Warner brand QS for quiet stop, they have a special set with a build in damper on the pads. that helped a lot, last little bet...
