Check the wiring harness coming out of the TPS under the loom to see if it has been spliced or original wiring is damaged/melting. Follow it back from the plug at least 6 inches.
When you replace the TPS sensor, the throttle plate has to be in the wide open position. Once you mate it together let it return to it's parked position.
My wet spot is right above the e-brake floor grommet. I looked there, looked at the harness grommet in the door jamb. Windshield seam. Hoping it's the shark fin now.
Thanks yeah me too. Nope that's the whole reason I took it off to begin with was to try and find a leak in there. And you really can't see much under there anyway. There is like a big steel compartment welded to the firewall under there can't see jack under it.
