On one hand, I put in a new alternator (Genuine GM part) today.
On the other hand, truck wouldn't do a thing but lock/unlock the doors once I was done. Did a bunch of troubleshooting with no success. She's at the shop now :rolleyes:

Discovered tonight that I have a brake light out on the left tail so time to replace the light. Tossing around either just replacing the assembly and staying stock or getting something aftermarket. I do NOT want caddy taillights but that’s all I know at this point.

Don't need much for a single cab truck. That should be perfect. I had a similar set up in my S10 back in the day. The thing hit pretty hard for a pretty modest system.
That's a pretty bad track record for you to take both in and they screw up both! I'd be pissed enough to ring that on up the corporate ladder. Not that it'd make a difference, most likely, but would make me feel better and just hope that a higher up cares enough about customer service to take...
@soulsea loves kids to much that he often offers to tote around all the neighborhood kids to their practices. The stickier the fingers and the runnier the nose the more it warms his heart
