2011 Tahoe/Best dash cam for Chevy Tahoe

I have the "Street Guardian" front / rear dash cam. It performs great... simple to operate. These are sample photos of my install.....( '05 Yukon configuration ) ( The trick was locating the rear cam, on the hatch glass..... and to open / close the glass. I power it from my cig lighter.

I imagine, you can "hit the throttle" since it is run on an automatic transmission.??

    Nitrogen?

Between pit stops, I would adjust tire pressures in the next set of tires.... like a 1/4 to a 1/2 lb.... from one side to the other, for the amount of left-turns verses right - turns on a road course, after inspecting tire wear. On smooth - sticky racing tires. These tires do a 55 minute stint...

    Will 4x8 plywood...

yes if the 3rd row seat is removed, like in my '05 XL. ( total length is 8' 2" )

    Nitrogen?

Good thought..... But I like the convenience of airing my tires at home, especially if I'm leaving on a long drive, and need a couple pounds. Done in 10 minutes.

    Coolant temperature fluctuations normal??

Same for a transmission temp gauge..... That will drive people nuts.....

    Nitrogen?

I've used nitrogen for the race cars for decades.... I set the tire pressures in micro-pressures for race set ups, to maintain a perfect pressure. Don't waist your time & money, considering nitrogen for a street tire. You will not notice a thing considering the effort. You will loose a pound...

    Coolant temperature fluctuations normal??

Uh..... as long as the temps are consistent, I don't see an issue. IMO

    Useless Information

Honestly, your additional 117 mile drive to the track would 'break in' the surfaces? The axle & gears are nice and new.... should be better than worn out parts.... ( I'm 3rd from left..... transport driver / equipment Manager / outside rear tire changer.. FUN part of job, was the pit stops !! )

A long way to travel in that weather condition & surface condition..... But maybe your test won't be that much of a factor considering what you will be driving on the track?

I'd wait for better track conditions, since you are looking for accurate data.

    Coolant temperature fluctuations normal??

In my '05 Yukon, the temp gauge ( at running temp - 200 ) , has never been different no matter the ambient conditions or speeds. ( I flushed the coolant twice, since I owned it.... replaced the overflow canister to see the levels better.

Tahoe LTZ chrome wheels - nasty marks - help needed

The wheels are coated. Polish will not buff-out the defects, until the aluminum is stripped of the coating. Having said that, the wheels MIGHT be chrome plated, then coated? Then he'll need just a chrome cleaner.... AFTER THE COATING IS REMOVED. A TON OF WORK...... Unless you send the wheels...

Tahoe LTZ chrome wheels - nasty marks - help needed

The one wheel, shows the 'damage' on just half of the wheel. Are the other wheels sort of the same? Possible damage caused by a harsh acidic cleaner was sprayed along the ground, and splashed onto your wheels? I am guessing the clearcoat did not fail, but the clearcoat has been damaged? (( "...
