Mine has 26K miles on it and probably 200 of those were in any conditions that needed anything near 4WD/Auto mode. Mainly hydroplaning fears due to crappy tires!
Leave it in 2wd unless conditions really dictate something else.....Better for your drivetrain.
They don't HAVE to be driven hard. This is not a HD Diesel that needs to be pulling a 5th wheel to be happy. It is engineered around daily driving, potential short trips and not towing a thing if that is what the owner wishes. As long as you get it out on the road once in a while, it has the...
Yep, I'm sure... I have 23K on mine and have put 3 jugs in it besides the factory fill. 3/4 full right now. It may not be quite 10K, but it for sure is 7K+...DEF is a non issue for me. 1st warning....dump 2.5 and motor on !
If you don't know anything about Diesels and don't want to learn.. Stick with gas.
However, if you do know about them or DO want to learn. The Dmax is a far better choice.
The only way to do these right, is to take them off and give them to a professional shop to spray the interior of the lights with tint. It’s the only thing that holds up looks professional day after day and never deteriorates.
The best warranty is the one that your local dealer or repair facility TELLS you that it is the best one. They have the history and knowledge of what will be covered and what won't. I thoroughly vetted my plan against the components I thought would fail and didn't buy until the service manager...
If I get through 6 to 7 years with a vehicle. It has pretty much done its time with me by then. Technology has moved on to other levels and they are starting to get long in the tooth. I know some people keep them 10+ years etc. etc..If I get through 6 to 7 years with a vehicle. It has pretty...
Thats why you get an extended warranty early. One decent fix pays for it and you still have it...
I used to be against them, but with these machines' complexity and vulnerability...not so dumb anymore...
Sometimes there are mitigating circumstances that might make this necessary. I can change my oil in less than 15 minutes with a valve and a container with zero mess. There is about a half a quart of old oil in the filter. 6 1/2 quarts of new oil. Nothing wrong with that in my mind as long as you...
How do you change your filter without draining the oil? From my experience, the oil level is up over the filter port when full. Don't you get an oil bath?
I use the AC Delco gold filter. I believe it's the better balance of price to build quality/longevity. You can tell it is not a cheap filter...
It pretty much reinforces that these vehicles can easily go 7500 miles plus on any approved DexosD oil. I would have zero qualms about running the 7500 limits if needed, but I basically change it when time and nicer weather situations arise.
Most oils today can actually go further than most...
My leak was a transmission oil/coolant heat exchanger mounted to the side of the transmission. Looks like a solid block of aluminum with a bunch of sandwiched plates. Once replaced, my coolant has held steady.
I agree, I don’t see any exceptional features on the 22+ models that make me want to have it over what I have. Every upgrade I’ve received over the air has done whatever it supposed to do without screwing anything else up.
I just downloaded this and opened it up. It looks like it could be a little bit better than the native navigation. Some questions are, Can this be set up to be the default navigation when you push the navigation button? Can this app by chance read texts? ( I can only hope…) Also, sounds like it...
This right here.... #1 reason to have them. X-Acts are more rubber than plastic. they lay down, cover well and are tough.
Composition is the main reason to buy Huskys.....
While that is a sad situation, they made it right and life goes on.
You are reading way too much into the situation. You have the same vehicle now as you had before it happened.
All it is now is a story with a decent ending. Carry on and enjoy it...
It's a no brainer to buy it a Wal mart. They told me they go thru SKIDS of it a week. You never have to worry about it being old.
Most of the time DEF is in the big rig lanes and you have to go in and pay 1st, etc. Plus the container makes a great oil container. I dump my Fumoto straight into...
