Newbie here. Bought a 2010 Yukon Denali 6.2L last year

On my 2010 denali at around 110k the silonoid was failing for the afm sounded similar but with smoke. Only cost about 350 in parts and an afternoon. But to me to sounds like yours is failing afm lifters. Witch is a more common problem with these engines. It's still not a 7k fix. I had a...

    Radio changes randomly

So as the title states. I have 2010 Yukon XL Denali and as I am driving down the road it randomly changes the station and DVD. It is not induced by bumps. It is just random. I have done some research and a few other makes and models have stated that it could be the steering wheel controls, but...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Changed front and rear diff, transfer case, and trans filter. Also did upper control arms, lower ball joints, and wheel bearings. Next on the list is tie rods.

Yes, twice. Everything is new but the master cylinder, booster, and the actual abs valve body.

    Abs still kicks in

As the title says my abs is still coming on between 10 and 5 mph. I have brand new abs module, sensors, rotors, pads, fluid, and lines. I have used my autocal and disconnected the battery and the abs is still giving me problems without any dtc. Anyone have an idea. Before I forget it's a 2002...

2016+ GM INDEPENDENT Intake Testing- Black Bear Performance

So out of these is there one that BlackBear will say performed the best. (I did look at the results but you guy have a different perspective than what we get.) For example, recommendation of one with or with out a tune.

Looking at 08 Yukon 6.2 AWD need input

I traded a 10 Tahoe for a 10 denali xl awd. I get better mpg because my foot isn't always on the floor. Best decision I ever made.

how to remove 07 Denali Power Running Board Motors

From what other people have post in the past. It is a complete pita. From what I have read they took the whole assembly off of the truck and did it on the bench, and it took a LOT of penetrating fluid and hammers.

Engine ticking 3 days after oil change. Told I need a new engine.

When mine did something similar it was the vram (valley cover) but I had smoke when ever I let off of the throttle. Could also be failed lifters as that is also a common problem. For them to only have it for a short time and say you have bad cam bearings is odd. But also cam bearings can be...

Huge hesitation, mechanically inclined. Please help

I am sure if you ask blackbear for their recommendation they will be more than helpful. They also have a ton of experience with these types of issues.

I have just the stop tech front lines. They work great.

Huge hesitation, mechanically inclined. Please help

You can do a smoke test or a carb cleaner test. When I went through Justin I bought an auto cal. But I believe that he is your best solution.

Huge hesitation, mechanically inclined. Please help

I have owned several full size gms and they all do what you say. It has to do with the way the ecu learns how you drive. When BlackBear did my tune for my 02 suburban I had no codes nothing telling me that there was anything wrong, but when I sent in my first data log they seen that my intake...

    2011 Yukon Denali vs 2011 Yukon/2011 Tahoe

When I had my old 2002 suburban in Hawaii I only got 10 to 13 mpg. And like he said there is no highway mpg there. Also I averaged less than 10k miles per year while I lived there so you don't drive nearly as much. I have owned my Yukon XL Denali for 9 months and put over 25k miles on it so far.

    2011 Yukon Denali vs 2011 Yukon/2011 Tahoe

Your right I don't think it should but I do in mine. I don't have to floor it everywhere I go. The power difference is night and day. The Tahoe I had averaged about 13.5 and the Denali gets 15. And the Tahoe had 3.08 final drive where as my Denali has 3.42. That may make the difference but I...

    Which tires? 275/55/20

I just recently put on grabber hts 60 and so far they have been great. I have also ran cooper discoverer ht plus and liked those as well. I don't like the stock Bridgestone or the Michelin ltz.

    Need brake parts help!

This subject has been discussed in great detail. But since you asked. I used braided steel lines centric high carbon rotors and carbon fiber ceramic pads. The brake are really good now and when they heat up they work better because of the carbon in both pads and rotors.

Huge hesitation, mechanically inclined. Please help

I would suggest a tune or a 6.2. That sounds exactly why I hated my wife's Tahoe. I have a 02 suburban that is tuned. When we got my wife a 10 Tahoe I was complaining about the same thing you are. I actually traded it in for a 10 Denali XL. The 6.2 is light years better and because I'm not...

    Suspension I think is gone

If it is just shocks then it is two bolts. One on top and one at the bottom. If it is autoride then there will be a wire connector and a hose up top also.

    2011 Yukon Denali vs 2011 Yukon/2011 Tahoe

I have owned a 2010 tahoe and now a 2010 denali xl. The Denali gets about 2-3 mpg better. Also the standard equipment is way better for the denali. But there is the price difference. The awd seems really good. I have had no problems in the upstate new York winter.
