Getting closer.
Had to clean the intake manifold which had 18 years of oil and dust on it.
That purple stuff, Superclean, from Walmart works pretty good. Spray on, wait 2 minutes, wash off
Mess?
You have
-a new 6.0 Powertrain.
-3 alternators
-e-fans
-some 5000 watt monster stereo
-an android head unit
-a new window motor
What is wrong now?
I've seen 200K mile 01-06 Tahoes with ripped seats going for $10K.
I saw a very clean 60K mile Hoe going for $25K.
Your Tahoe is probably...
That looks cool!
As long as you go with a lift kit you shouldn't have suspension issues. Leveling kits mess up axle angles....
I just don't care for the exposed torsion bar look.
Did you lower the back?....it looks lowered.
Did you do the muffler delete? or the super 10?
You need bigger wheels...
Bro,
Your Hoe to totally squatted.....LOL....you should lower the back and join that Popping Clutches Club..I think they are in Alabama....so close by.
Is it 2 or 4WD?
From your pics I can't see the camber.....vertical line of the wheel to the ground...Positive camber means top of wheel is...
LOL....Not my choice.
All the header dudes are backordered on the longtubes.
I would totally prefer to have longtubes and will as soon as they get some
For + Power and MPGs
A small shop in maine called bog brook auto
I saw them on you tube. He had a good recipe and he specializes in LSX engines and does a lot of 6.0s.
This is the one I ordered. +shaved heads and ARP hardware.
The Raymond Glasper special......pulls good torque numbers to 5000, which is what I was...
Very Nice....
I love a sharp looking wheel well!
I didn't get lost.
Been working on a house project. BTW, the cost of building materials has jumped crazy!
And been looking for a 2WD for the LT1 project. The cost of Tahoes has jumped as well.
and....been slowly, begrudgingly installing the LQ9...
I saw ONE picture installed......I expected more pictures....sorry.
I saw many more of the road.....LOL.
And yes your calipers are very pretty.
And yes they stop much better than stock. Its not linear like the stock brakes either.
The harder I push, the braking force seems to accelerate.
I like...
OK, T1 then..... like the Terminator T1 class of cybernetic organisms
Makes me feel like I have really advanced brakes.
I like the T900 model.
You should post a picture of your brakes, bro.
The 5.3 is out and sold!
Snapped off 4 exhaust bolts getting the manifolds off
So ARP all around.
Headers are backordered everywhere, so those will have to wait.
I couldn't even get a new A/C Compressor......3 weeks out.
I'm still kinda feeling stupid about not doing a LT1/10L90 but this will do...
Clean Lifted Z71 Near the boat launch on the Colorado River in Needles.
ZR1 at Minatos Sushi in Laughlin
Lake Havasu was a Zoo and this pic is tame.....pasties everywhere. 3 on 1
Too much party for this one
Does it do it if your A/C is off?
Another member was plagued by this issue of "near stalling"
It was the clutch going back on his A/C compressor and placing too much load on an idling engine.
and his A/C would go warm at idle as well.
All custom fabbed...
Fueling and tuning is critical....otherwise they blow real easy.
CX racing makes good kits....
Turbo Intercooler kit For 99-07 Chevrolet Silverado GMT 800 Vortec V8 4.8 5.3 6.0 (cxracing.com)
Only 2WD though....but your shaft is already gone so you're good to go.
Is there a preferred brand on the regulator/motor assembly?
My driver one is weak and getting weaker.
How about dorman?
They've invested over $1M in smart motor technology. LOL
