Check your frame grounds. Perform the big 3 upgrade. Double check the connections at the upper rear shock mounts. Those are easy to get to and even easier to accidentally disconnect while doing upper shock bolts.
No sir, that motor doesn’t like 87. What you save at the pump will cost you in repairs and then some when that motor detonates itself to pieces. E85 is 100+ octane so use that instead.
Head has to come off to get to the lifters and trays. Head removal and replacement is like a 2-3 on a scale from 1-10. Just get the torque values correct when you reassemble. No big deal buddy.
Wheel speed sensors first. You close to or have a Tech2? Could be as simple as disconnecting some connections and cleaning them with some contact cleaner and reassembling.
Finally got around to fixing my transmission shift cable bushing at the transmission. I removed the shift lever from the transmission and drilled out the little nub that protrudes so I could insert a 1/2”x1/2” clevis pin and cotter pin to connect the transmission cable that way. Reassembled with...
