I was able to view an AT4 interior in person. While my initial disgust isn't justified, the Forest Storm would not be in my top choices for an interior color. But it isn't horrible.
I'm glad you like it and hope you can grab one. My initial reaction is disgust, but I am looking for one on a dealer lot so I can see it in person. I know that pictures don't always do colors or vehicle looks justice online.
All this time waiting on the 25 to be revealed and for the Build and Price to go live and now they are starting to hit dealer lots and I just now see that the AT4 trim only comes with a Forest Storm interior? W in the actual F?! That putrid color looks like something my grandfather would drive...
The GMC sales manager I spoke with today said he wouldn't be able to order me a Yukon XL diesel until May. I hope you are correct with order banks opening in March.
Just finished test driving a Sierra equipped with the diesel engine. I know it isn't the same as being in a Yukon XL, but I did not find any issues driving through town nor out on the highway. And I made sure to cruise along at 70-75 and then try to pass some vehicles. Personally, the engine...
While I would love to get that type of mileage, what you just described is my concern. That would take some getting used to, especially since I have driven a V8 for the past 14 years.
Thank you for this.
I have never driven a diesel so I don't have 1st hand knowledge of this. But while going through many threads here, I have come across some who complain that the diesel seems to lag when attempting to pass on the interstate. Or is sluggish when getting on the gas. That seems to be...
Patiently (not really) waiting on the Yukon Build & Price to go live and was playing with the Suburban B&P.... Am I correct that you can only get front bench seats with the LS which is locked into the 5.3 engine? What in the actual hell? And I couldn't find the 2nd row bench seat option on...
According to Ford's CEO, American car buyers are the roadblock to having our roads filled with mini cars like in Asia and Europe because we are addicted to big vehicles that can carry large loads and many passengers. We must get used to small vehicles because it would cost too much money to make...
So I was looking at some Yukon XL AT4s online. Picture of the mfg tag inside the door says that the spare tire is 17 inches. If the spare can be 17 inches, there is no reason the other 4 tires can't be. Which leads me to believe the ridiculous size of the rims has nothing to do with necessity...

I am really liking the look of this. And while I swore I would never own another GM/Chevrolet product after I got rid of my 2000 Silverado, it looks...
I don't think it looks bad, but I agree with you about the chrome. Chrome has really started to disgust me over the past few years.
As far as the Sequoia crushing GM in design... have you looked at the Sequoia with its ridiculously hampered interior storage layout? Not looking to start any...
I swear that the designers are involved in one big circle jerk and its not a good thing. A couple examples: GMC came out with the blocky headlights with the LED frame (5 yrs ago) and then Ford "refreshes" their models with their take on that design. GMCs initial design was ugly in my opinion...
Those comments are scary AF.... Are the 2025's going to be powered by the same engines and is this an ongoing problem? Or was it confined to a specific timeframe?
I am not knowledgable regarding the diesel engines. What is considered "short trips" as far as they go?
And the reason that I am even looking into a diesel is because I have read some of the horror stories recently about the gas engines leaving people stuck on the side of the road...
