Towing 18' aluminum car trailer with diesel 3.0 23 Yukon

Regarding your being burnt with GM's "active air-ride suspension"... can you elaborate ? Was your local GMC or Chevy dealerships not able to make repairs ??

    Chip Retrofit Lawsuit?

GM is an immoral and untrustworthy corporation, their OnStar and intrusive MyGM app practices alone make it obvious to me. Some great vehicles and loyal customers though.

    Pricing vs MSRP

Out of state sales and delivery to buyers is becoming more commonplace than one might think. I've had 3 new vehicles delivered in the past 2 years, one was over 400 miles and 2 states away, plus they took my trade.

    Chip Retrofit Lawsuit?

Maybe consider having a local car alarm/radio/window tint specialists who also installs aftermarket parking sensors to hook you up by utilizing some of the hardware that/s in your SUV now, like the bumper holes/sensors. Might be less costly that you'd expect and turn your frown upside-down...

Rear quarter panel body damage question..

Not sure I want to go thru months of bodyshop drama right now, mom just got her Frontier pickup out of the bodyshop after 3.5 months of waiting. Bolted a temporary mirror to the stem body but then discovered the drivers door glass got badly scratched by the shattering mirror yesterday, it's a...

Rear quarter panel body damage question..

. Thanks, I'll go visit some reputable PDR places, I could probably live with some small creases & minor imperfections as long as the major dents are removed. I don't have any bank loans nor live in an area where I have to keep up with the Joneses  .

Rear quarter panel body damage question..

Fast-running deer outta nowhere ran into the side of our '23 Suburban HC while was cruising 63-mph on a long straightaway. Deer's head first connected the mirror, then her body impacted the rear panel just behind the passenger door. Doors seem to open and close properly as does the mirror's...

    Gas vs Diesel fuel price

600 miles betw3een fill-ups in my '23 suburban 3.0 duramax to me is well worth paying higher cost of fuel vs gasoline. Last fill up diesel was $5.20 and premium gas was $4.50 here in NE Georgia boonies. 400 miles between fill-ups in my '23 suburban 6.2L ... and less if I follow the "cardinal...

Questions about my new 2023 Tahoe

1st 1,800 miles, only smell our '23 brand new 6.2 Suburban 4wd High Country had was the leather seating, no "burnt" smells.. and I'm very sensitive to any smells. Re: Transmission whine, I drove a new '23 Tahoe 6.2L High Country 4wd for a month, and yes its transmission had a noticeable whine...

Any downside leaving OnStar in factory demo mode, the in-dash screen ?

I think my February Suburban DRL's dim with headlights on, while my December Suburban's DRL's stay bright with headlights on. Been maybe a month since I last checked when parked directly in front of Dunkin Donuts glass windows.

Any downside leaving OnStar in factory demo mode, the in-dash screen ?

Now that you mention it... it's logical that one item on the selling-dealer's Pre-Sales Check List would want the service dept to themselves check for newest updates before releasing the Suburban to the buyer (me).. and of course the in-dash unit would've been in demo-mode for that procedure...

Any downside leaving OnStar in factory demo mode, the in-dash screen ?

Well, I prefer to not register this newer Suburban with OnStar and prefer to keep my in-dash screen in Demo mode.. actually I simply keep screen turned off all the time, black screen displaying time and temp only  I'm somewhat concerned that my Burb won't receive any updates...

Any downside leaving OnStar in factory demo mode, the in-dash screen ?

My new '23 Suburban HC was delivered 6-weeks ago from an out of state dealer and OnStar was not activated/registered by the salesperson, my in-dash display is currently in demo mode and I've not registered this newest Suburban's OnStar, I've simply left it alone. My in-dash screen will...

    My 6.2L mileage experience

The Duramax Burb shows trip-2 lifetime (since factory) of 24-mpg but only has 1700 miles and may not be fully broken in. Wish my '06 Silverado 6.6L Duramax got 24-mpg (rather than 14) LOL !!

Three things I don't understand on current generation Suburban

With most GMC dealers ticking off customers by quoting outrageous “market rate” prices for new Yukon XL’s sure make our pair of 2023 Chevy Burbs absolutely beautiful. ;) I’m mostly retired living in the boonies so they’ve never seen any passengers

    My 6.2L mileage experience

My '23 Suburban HC with 6.2L trip-2 meter has never been reset since leaving Arlington factory.. so Hwy miles, rural miles, city miles, idling at drive-thru windows, occasional 10 minute morning warm-ups and etc is a Lifetime combined 16-mpg using only good Premium gas. .

Older chevy C-10 trucks I once owned and adored now look ugly to me. No telling whether I will loathe my '23 Suburban's looks in a few years :lol2:
