cutoff actually isn't too terrible on the ghetto retrofit it just looks like the brights on one of them is messed up I'll probably have to take it apart to be sure, but I think the driver side shield isn't opening up all the way- Galandorian

well whatever it was, it wasn't pleasant pretty sure I destroyed these headlights. I ordered another set and will need to take my time removing the permaseal on the next set. I'll also probably make a video of how to do the whole retrofit, since it was not nearly as intuitive as I expected...- Galandorian

I thought the Denali ones were permaseal, and this was much different stuff than those were. I had no issues removing the Denali projectors, but a TON of difficulty with these Chevy ones. I was strictly trying to remove the projectors from the rear, not open the headlights.- Galandorian

I also got all of my retrofit stuff in today, so I started that project Amazon Depo projectors CB&D Brackets MoriMoto Mini H1 7.0 bixenon HID 38w nhk ballasts XB 4500k bulbs if the Yukon retrofits were 6/10 difficulty, these chevy ones were probably 8/10 difficulty didn't even get around to...- Galandorian

first my cheap ebay housing started having issues then my cheap ebay hatch handle broke ended up purchasing parts to build new retrofits for the lights, and should hopefully have ebay sending me a new hatch handle to put on- Galandorian

was driving to work today and only charging at 13.5V... again! I was like WTF man! about ready to throw my system out the window came home and got to thinking, the dual alternator bracket is painted, and probably wasn't grounding properly sure enough 14.5V grounded to the outer alt 15.5v...- Galandorian

they're separate systems, so the stock alt is just running the car, and the 2nd alt is just running the sound system should be a little over 300a when hot and at full load, and like 230ish idle I believe- Galandorian

so since I put in the new 10aH Lithium and disconnected my front battery, every day before work I would have to jump the vehicle, and then I could drive to work seeing 14.5V constant, and I could start the vehicle after work no issue but on the way home from work, I'd see a max charging voltage...- Galandorian

Pioneer AVH-600EX that lithium battery is the only battery in the car :) it starts the vehicle, keeps it running, and runs the system nah, not possible I am concerned about breaking my hatch and tearing the door sheet metal though thanks! don't worry, there' still plenty of those things :) this weekend I ended up getting my head unit, voltmeter, front doors, and one amp installed: the doors are botched as hell... the builder was terrible and there were a lot of issues that I didn't know about prior to purchase still disputing...- Galandorian

ended up selling my my doors and picking up some others online they came in damaged and uninsured, so I've been rebuilding them and trying to work a claim through paypal went from 4 8s and 2 tweets in each front door to 3 10s, 1 horn, and 3 tweets, however none of the speakers that I was told...- Galandorian

ruuuuuddeee! XD I will forever be in love with those damn steel wheels my next set of rims and tires will definitely be 17x9 Warrior 8015s can get them in the -12 offset that I've wanted, but 17" BFGs + that set of rims end up costing like $1700 total...
