What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Too excited to wait until 170k? LOL I obsess about seeing all 0's across the screen or repeating patterns (210210) or sequentials (234567), but I got ya... It is exciting to see the high numbers come in. Had mine almost a year and a half. I'm over 210k now. One of the highest mileage vehicles...

Frickin a/c still/Truck Will Not Start/Hatch Will Not Open....

On your #3: No-crank/No-start... I was in a similar situation with occasional and random no-crank/no-starts. I was freaking out! I was fearing that my ignition or Passlock security was on the way out. I was looking at firing the parts cannon and searching up ignition swtiches, Passlock key...

    05 Tahoe EBCM

If you can find out what size and thread the connectors are on the lines, you could put bolts in after you disconnect each line, to stop the flow. I have no idea what size they might be... Someone else might know. But that might do the trick. Not sure how fast it would bleed out the master...

Totaled '03 Z71, already bought another

MA RMV is also very uptight on registering salvage/rebuild vehicles for on-road use. First, there is only one or two designated inspection stations in the entire state that will inspect and determine if a salvage or rebuild titled vehicle meets requirements to be considered road-worthy. I don't...

    Question About Idler Arm

Thanks! Did any of you happen to catch an earlier question I had about the Idler Control Arm? Where does the excess wear on the Ilder Control Arm tend to happen? Does the shaft that the arm pivots on wear out too? Is it worth replacing the entire assembly that bolts onto the frame (with the...

    Factory amp and aftermarket sub

Just a few screws/bolts and you should be able to get the console out of the way. I have not done that, but from what I have seen it does not look like major surgery to get to the space where the factory sub is located.

    Factory amp and aftermarket sub

My Boss Audio head unit took a little tweaking to get the best out of it... For BT playback, you have to make sure BT volume on the phone (or playback source) is at max. There were also "source volume" settings for each kind of audio source (BT/Call Volume/Nav, etc.) in the head unit's...

How to remove that OnStar module from windshield?

@NoReverseYukon I stumbled on this in another thread on our forum... Post #10 had some notes... The guy had a 2001 Suburban. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/removing-interior-onstar-antenna.39344/post-466798

what causes my battery to drain

I would guess your issue is not likely to be three bad batteries. You have other electrical issues going on. This should probably get moved to the correct area of the forum for your 2022 Denali. Not because nobody would help you here, if they could... Just better to have responses to your post...

Oil Pressure Sensor Keeps Failing with Oil Leak

Nothing guarantees a new replacement sensor will be any better than an original. In fact, they can be worse than an oldie. I would be hesitant to replace a sensor if it is working perfectly now. I've seen too many times, where doing that brings people down a rabbit hole of problems that just...

Nice! You could also possibly use the slide-bolt side of a latch like this... So you don't have to track loose pins. It could stay attached to the board all the time and not get lost. Not criticizing anything in the design... Just brainstorming...

    Headlight Burning

Headlight bulb socket connectors on the ends of the harness have been know to get fried due to age and bulbs with wattage ratings higher than designed. Replacement sockets are available and pretty cheap. Do yours look browned or cooked? I have a mish-mash on my 04. PO installed LED corner...

2004 Yukon XL Denali aftermarket Subwoofer Amplifier Install

I used a Kicker sub to replace the factory sub in my 05 Jeep Rubicon. Was a great sounding speaker for the money!

    Oil pan woes

This ^^^ It does seem to line up with the location of hoses at the heater core... Certainly a good place to look. The rust stains could just be the valve cover bolt rusting after having slow leak dripping from above and probably not anything coming from the bolt itself.

    wiring mess

800 number for Crutchfield tech. support is above. They are really super-nice and helpful. I would try calling them. In the interest of gaining new customers, they might be willing to help you identify which wires go where to the amp/subwoofer. Worth a shot! I don't think they would hang up and...

    Sunroof Explosion

Ya never know... Old threads may die and lie dormant, but there is always a chance for updates or new information to come along. Not the worst that could happen by resurrecting an oldie... Sometimes, documenting even the smallest bit of information can help crack a case from the cold files...

    Driver Door locks

Is it possible this is happening (from my 04 owner's manual)? Delayed Locking When locking the doors with the power lock switch or the keyless entry transmitter and a door or the liftgate (if equipped) is open, the delayed locking feature will delay locking the doors until five seconds after...

Door Lock Knob replacement driver door

Can the lock be worked without jamming with the button removed (moving inside lever by hand)? Does it operate OK using the fob to lock/unlock? If it jams in either of those two ways, maybe you do have an issue with the connector or door latch. Spray the moving parts and door latch with some...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I thought removal and install of replacement was easy, especially since I took the wheel off and opened up access through the fender liner. I was done pretty quick and don't recall struggling to disconnect wires, get them out or back into position. Was like a half hour tops. But yes, if just...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Dirty outside or in the gear works area on the inside? If dirty on the inside, why? Rear main seal leaking into flywheel housing? Tips: Jack it up on a stand, remove the wheel. Pop the plastic fender liner and fold it back out of the way. Makes for much easier access getting hands on it from...
