Great engineering on that feature! Makes parking lot replacements without any tools whatsoever super-easy. The pins also release the DTRL/turn signal assembly when removed. When you end up having to change bulbs... -
Dash lights
It looks like that is a yes... Here is my 04. It looks like I have the rear and front defrost buttons with lights out. But you can see the other buttons in the photo are lit up at night. -

I totally agree. I upgraded stock HU to Boss Audio. Was really affordable, had all the modern features, was back-up cam ready and made a huge difference in the factory Bose speakers. What to Buy? Tahoe vs Yukon Denali
Difference in miles between the two you listed is negligible. Difference in price, between the two is also negligible. The Denali is newer and may have some more doo-dads than the LS Tahoe. That said, the Denali is AWD. Not necessarily a negative, but the systems are just a little more involved...- MassHoe04

How unique are Key Fob frequencies?
I don't know what year the other truck was, I just heard the horns beeping and the guys laughing about locking each other out while they were in the work bay. Hypothetically, of course... If a couple of relatives piled in the 2nd and 3rd rows, there are pretty good odds that the human payload is over 500 pounds. I would think 500 lbs. on a trailer might haul like it is not even there (unless the trailer was a heavy car hauler).- MassHoe04

I like those! In my area, that would not be a terrible price for the lower mileage in very good condition... If I come into money, I may see about going to 1990's vintage Tahoe or Suburban. Even less computerized stuff to go wrong than the ones we have now.- MassHoe04

I sent for some by Sealight. Supposed to have a good reputation. I am not saying they don't... The thing was, that I had a hard time trying to fit those into the TYC (stock aftermarket replacements) headlight assemblies. I could not get them in without feeling like I was going to break... -

Jeep used a slightly different speaker on their factory subs in 05. Crutchfield found me an aftermarket replacement for Kicker that matched the system perfectly! It had an ohm rating that was not all that common in the majority of subwoofer speakers. They had it in stock!- MassHoe04

Headlights come back on randomly....
Trace wires on the headlight harness. Look for any nicks or damaged wire along the way back to the inside of the truck and switch. Maybe you are getting a monetary short that causes the lights to come on. Areas of special attention would be locations where the wires pass through openings in...- MassHoe04
