What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That's Texas for you... Totally illegal in Michigan, but my Afghanistan veteran license plate usually saves me (the wife's Malibu is also tinted illegally). Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Bought myself a 2012 PPV in Texas. Got loaded on a truck this morning, and is due for delivery on Sunday. A whole new project :-)

    Storage boxes for Tahoes

Thanks. A few hundred bucks is a great price, but it's usually $1500-2000 for those things. I guess I can give them a ring and see if they have any clearance boxes. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The site is a bit thin on details... Would you mind sharing which model you got and the price?

    SOLD! Setina PB400

Wasn't me that got it, unfortunately... But I just bought a 2012 PPV I was going to put it on (the Tahoe is supposed to arrive to me on Sunday). [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    Vinyl Floor Kit

Find one from a PPV Tahoe? Even used would be OK, as they usually stand the test of time pretty well.

New GM museum and vehicle info archive

Awesome find! My company just relocated me to the Detroit area, and the team I manage will be having a meeting here soon... This would be a fun tour for my team since we're in the automotive industry :-)

    Push to start button install

Step one to this process? Make sure the dome disable is not pressed in on the headlight switch. :fca5278e:

    Push to start button install

Well you're right that there is a separate control for the dome light. Unfortunately, after a call to the Fortin tech support, they do not support this feature. How ridiculous. The Easyguard does not have a wire for dome light supervision, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. So the...

    Push to start button install

That's exactly what I did. My next challenge is that the dome lights no longer come on when I unlock the doors or open a door. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Push to start button install

I found the answer to my issue... There is a brown wire in the ignition wiring that is a 'second accessory' wire. This needs +12v, as well. Interesting that this was not in the wiring I found, but I'm guessing it's because most remote start systems still require the key to be turned on. Sent...

    Push to start button install

@Blackie - Did you have any trouble with your wipers when installing your system? Mine simply don't work. If I put the key in and turn it, they work fine. There must be a separate wire that energizes with the ignition turned that I need to include in my wiring. Everything else seems to be...

    Push to start button install

@Blackie may be able to answer better since he had an existing alarm. I do know the kit I got for the remote start has an alarm interface built in, so it's worth exploring if you go that route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Push to start button install

To piggy-back off of your cool project, I just completed installing passive key/push button/remote start in my Yukon. Since I did not have an existing alarm system, my deployment consisted of three parts: The passive key/remote start/push button kit: http://a.co/csjbOor As with any other kit...

    What's with the Dash Paint?

I used SEM primer and paint on mine about 6 months ago and it seems to be holding up fine. I took it off, sanded it, prepped it, primed it, and painted it. It came out great and I no longer have my wife looking at that nasty peeling on her side. And it only cost me about $30 in supplies.

Did you spray it where the intake manifold goes into the heads? Mine leaked there (i think it is a common failure point). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've been eyeballing this standalone kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HCBEYW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4qmEAb6AYAE1C From what I read, it'll also require this interface: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0047XSLLQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_msmEAbW8045ES Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can I install a key lock on the rear glass

My '03 had that plain push button. When I took the button off and disassembled it, there was a fully functioning lock in there that worked with my key!

Moving the Denali with out front diff

+1 to Rocket Man's question Do you have experience in this sort of thing or was this your first time? Just curious if 20 hours is a norm. Was there a procedure you followed? I have been on the hunt for a how-to since I changed the fluid in my front diff and the magnet was not pretty.

    02 Yukon Headlight Dilemma

As you already pointed out, the 4 high mod would solve the lighting issue, so why not spend the $2 to do that? As far as the light not projecting properly, perhaps the bulbs are not mounted properly in the projector? If I paid a shop money like that for HIDs, I would demand they make it...
