I drove my 4dr with rot like that on both frame rails for over a year without any problems. I recently had it welded up for $175 aside only because they caught it on the inspection this year.
on Tuesday night I noticed that my dash lights seemed a little dim so I looked over to see that my battery was only being charged at 10-11 volts and the dash light for the battery came on. I kept watching it and after a few minutes it went up to around 13 volts. it has always charged right at 14...
I was going to look at that one but the guy beat the hell out of it off road. it had bigger tires on it before and has been on craigslist for the last couple months.

not sure about what your looking to spend...
I'd would have taken pictures if this thread was started earlier. 2 weeks ago there was over 3 feet on the ground without drifts. There were 5 foot mounds along every road never mind snowbanks. Then it got warm and now there is only about 6 inches left.
I call mine a truck but it is also a SUV. I consider crossovers and small "SUV's" station wagons because they serve the same purpose and have the same limited capabilities.
Welcome. I'm also from mass and as a matter of fact I think that was one of the trucks I was looking at on craigslist to replace my current tahoe. If I remember right it was in Saugus next to hockey town. Nice looking truck.

Then go to the second slide----I'm right at the bottom of the 0 in 30
not very long, unfortunately. The body and frame are rotting and both frame rails are cracked. It stills runs great and is great off road for a stock truck but I don't see it passing inspection again. I would buy another one to replace this one though.
I used something similar to that on the edge of my hood and it has held up fine. It faded a bit but I doubt that matters if your using it in a place that sees no sun.
