NOS pieces are priced out of sight. I'm not a big fan off the china stuff. So I did a thing. Swapped the broken case parts into the good case non rear defrost spare I had. If you go junkyard shopping find one made out of white plastic. The beige ones are too brittle. I used the little...
The hvac control was loose in the 99 Tahoe. I was pulling the lighter panel to install the new USB port and found the controller all broken up. Looking at ebay and amazon replacements. Anybody have any experience with them?
I've a couple of projects rolling so the Tahoe is last. Did get a start by pulling and cleaning the front carpet. Used the neighbors asphalt drive and a pressure washer. The carpet is back in have to finish putting in the seaya and teim pieces. I'd sure like to find a set of these visors that...
Have you thought of pulling the pins and tightening them up. I've one of these and find it very handy.

I asked about bump stops in another section, let me try again. I noticed that the rear bump stop rubber parts are gone. Researching replacement stops turned us a large price range. Being a stock 4wd that won't be overloaded but will be towing, what's a good replacement price point. I'm seeing...
This is definitely a revival but... I just noticed both rear bump stops gone on my new ride. A search pulled up a bunch of choices. Why such a disparity in pricing. Materials, longevity, color, pretty simple item and I doubt that I'd be hitting them often. Thoughts?
The door pns aren't really that bad. I recommend a hard surface, concrete or pavement. You will need patience and a buddy. A rolling floor jack and a block of wood to support it. A door spring compressor as well. Plenty of you tube videos to watch first. These folks sell the best door pin sets...
You asked about RPO codes. The sticker in the glove box? Here ya go.

That's a sweet find. I was planning on having a friend find me something in Florida before I found something local. I was in the KSA during desert storm. Saw a bunch of sweet rides just sitting in compounds. I wanted one of Sadams little Russian jeeps bad.
I think I lucked into a sweety. Here in our neck of the mountains we have an average of over 150" of snowfall. So Salt rots everything. Found this old girl in Virginia, where she'd been garage kept. The grandson hit the interstate and the motor locked up. Dip stick shows good level just dirty...
I'm hoping the Suburban won't require much work. From conversations so far it's been well maintained. The pickup is back together after the deer strike other than the ac condenser.
