Why the switch to big rims?
It seems that many folks are making a statement that larger wheels with tires that have a lower profile "perform better". I assume that this is a statement about road performance, and not off road performance. Certainly it is agreed that a tire with a larger sidewall would be a better option... -

I am looking for some water resistant seat covers for my 2023 Denali. I want to be able to climb into my rig with salt water drenched rain gear on after fishing without messing up my seats. Ideally the covers would be fairly easy to get on and off, and maybe be nice enough looking and fit... -

Can you turn off Auto Shutdown (eco mode)
is there a mechanical reason for turning off the auto shut down mode? Seems like it could bear out your starter.. but what do I know? I don't mind it, but seems like it might eventually cause an issue- Jocko PDX

My salesperson did the same, but it was a bit overwhelming.. Lots of info coming at 100 miles per hour.. Plus I am used to driving an 06 suburban that has very few portions comparatively- Jocko PDX

I had a similar thing happen once while changing the oil on my 76 Ford pickup.. Apparently I did not screw the oil filter on properly and blew all 6-7 quarts of oil out on my shop floor... ugh -

WeatherTech Mud Flaps with Power Assist Steps (Pictures)
I installed these on my 2023 Denali and there was no issues. I have no complaints. I have Yokohama 285 50 22 Geolander tires on. still plenty of room. The fronts and rear appear to be the same height. I'll try and post some pics in a bit. -
Buying Used
My 2003 Suburban has 281,000 miles on it and still runs well, so you might consider the repair on your '06 and save yourself from paying a bunch for a new one. I did buy a new 2023 Denali in Oct and have had 0 issues with it so far, but I still drive the suburban about half of the time.- Jocko PDX

2023 Yukon Denali mats/cargo liners
I disagree with this. I still drive my '03 suburban a lot and it has the removable 3rd row. Its just a pain in the neck. I do take it out prob 5-6 times a year, and it is sitting in my garage.. The new configuration is much better. The only issue is that the GM liners are just not great... -

I “AT4-XL’ed” my Denali with one simple trick!
Nice rig. I went from a 06 suburban to a 2023 Denali (not XL) and there is a tad bit less space. I would have opted for the XL but I frequently park in tight city garages and the parking is just too much of a hassle. I agree 100% with the 18" rims and larger sidewall.
