I've used the Bosch wipers on a Silverado and a 19 Yukon and really liked them. If they do ice up, I'd tilt the arm back and use the snow brush to clean off any ice and frozen snow. I live in Michigan, I understand.
Even if they were the same and fit, I'm sure it would be a real pain to switch over. I just like the look of the ones on the Sierra more than the plain ones on the Yukon.
This is GM's second attempt at an electric vehicle, the first was called the EV1 during the 80-90s. Pressure from the oil companies caused GM to cancel the program. The electric vehicle would be so much further along today. There is a documentary about it called "Who killed the electric car".
Hi all,
I have a 21 yukon and was wondering if the front fender badge from a 21 sierra is the same as the 21 yukon, are they interchangeable? I like how the sierra badge says 6.2 V8, the yukon just says GM. Sorry I cannot post a picture now.
No, your not able to preview on the front screen, the only options up front are sound control, enabling screens (left, right, both, none) and mirror screens together. On my 21, that is.
The Big 3 are promising to be all electric soon, the battery technology is still years behind for me to stop using ICE cars and trucks. I don't see any of these electric vehicles making it over 100K miles or more like todays trucks, no matter how much maintenance you do to them.
I agree, my yukon only gets driven on the weekends, I also have a 21 bronco sport 1.5 3cyl. that I drive to work daily, bought it for the gas mileage. It averages 28-30mpg.
Still don't want to pay $5.00+ for gas in any vehicle.
My parents had a 03 Escalade that gave the "service stabilitrak" fault for a long time but still drove and shifted normal. It has about 135-140K miles and now my niece still drives it.
2 years I bought a nice 19 Yukon XL, it very low miles, SLE with factory 22 wheels. Put it up for sale to get the 21 Yukon XL SLT, it sold in 2 days. I would have kept the 19 longer but I was able to upgrade to the features of the 21, and I like the new body style.
I'm surprised they aren't like the car rental companies and charge a fee of $10/gallon to fill the tank, just hide the cost somewhere in the paperwork.
The Ford dealers might be more transparent on the expedition price but their really sticking it to big Bronco customers. I would consider an expedition if something bad happened to my Yukon.
Mine is also black with the gloss black 22 rims, when clean it looks good, I'd like to use something to repel the dust and water spots for a little longer.
Yikes is right! I hate to spend that much ($1795) but to have it done professionally would be so much easier. Back when I used to apply paste wax to my vehicles I would get bored/tired of it and rush through the other side.
I like to use the DIY carwash with my own bucket and brush/sponge. There's never a line so no one has to wait behind me, I've done it at home before but I have a gravel driveway that collects all the water at the end by the road. You have to wait several hours for the water to dry up or you'll...
Hi all,
I have been seeing a lot of people here talking about ceramic coating their trucks. I have a 21 Yukon XL that I bought last fall, it has only 1000mi on it and hasn't seen snow or salt yet. I was wondering how long does ceramic coat last, does it seal paint and clear coat, I've seen...
I have a 21 Yukon with leather seats that are comfortable I guess, but they aren't the best looking, very plain looking. The best leather seats I had were on the Silverado I sold before this Yukon, they were the Katzkin leather.
I bought my yukon last sept., caught it on the dealer's website before it had a buyer. It had everything I wanted except for the black exhaust tip, I tried to get it taken off before I bought it but they gave me some story about the order being an approved dealer order and couldn't be changed...
