Ended up going with the chevy platinum warranty for 96/80 w/0 deductible and lift/tire mod surcharge. Total was 2386 (2036 base + 350 surcharge) and likely not as smart as saving each month for a rainy day I do get the peace of mind to not think of some of the big ticket items hitting and...
I certainly get the intent here but having this language gives chevy an "out" on all service if they really wanted to be jerks about it. Dennis did say not having this coverage but having a truck with tire/lift mods would result in everything being denied (even a broken seat heater). So, if...
got a quote from dennis (very responsive and recommend)...oddly enough chevy is raising the prices effective 10/8 and I can't purchase quite yet due to not having my vehicle registered as in-service yet. Looking at the contract language, this part scares me...can I not ever buy different tires...
Thanks folks, I've read thru many of the existing threads so understand this is a personal choice. Odd that my dealer is offering thru Zurich Comprehensive Service Contract with is not the GM coverage although says it is identical to the 3 year coverage that comes with the vehicle.
2023 Z71 Tahoe (comes with 3yr/36k). Should I opt for the extended coverage thru dealer (6 yr/80k) that permits me to take to any chevy dealer with a $100 deductible? Cost is approx. $475 per year ($2875 total).
I haven't picked the vehicle up yet (2023 Tahoe z71 in Sterling Gray) as it's just arrived on lot; dealer is offering this service at cost (approx. 1200). Should I do it (includes under vehicle and interior treatment as well)? Also, tempted to have them debadge the z71 emblems from the...
Anybody purchased these and installed them? Difficulty level?

Same q but now for rear/tailgate sill plate...
Yeah, I'm going to wait for job losses and the market to really dive for people to start unloading their existing rides as they can't keep up with a 1k car payment. It's really my best bet at this point. And no, my dealer never got the allocation so GM never accepted the order. If you are...
Put 1k down on a new 2022 z71 Tahoe in Feb of this year and due to constraints my order has been sitting since then with no allocation. Tried another dealer and put another 1k down and have had no luck there as well. The $300 price increase for the "connected" stuff that just got added this...
As title says, curious? I see a Tahoe headed to a lot that I'd like to buy as I'm tired of waiting for GM to accept my order but I need bucket seats for 2nd row; can/will a dealer swap these out and is there a large cost associated? TIA.
For the Tahoes, I see slightly increased pricing for my build based on what it was last week. I don't see it on the website but the dealer built my 2023 and sent over the details. Things like roof rack increased in price from 495 to 575 but overall, my z71 build went up by $155 total.
Yeah, tough to tell how different it is from the satin steel but looks really nice! I just told my dealer to put in my order and I'm not waiting for MSRP to be announced; just gave the list of what I want with sterling gray as the color so we shall see what he comes back with on tuesday (when...
https://paintref.com/cgi-bin/paintdetail.cgi?paintx=2023|GM|Sterling Gray|223885 I'm not sure if that's the case...
Edit: actually, maybe it is https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/05/2023-cadillac-escalade-v-paint-colors-first-pictures/
Correct, replaced with whatever sterling gray metallic/GXD is....would love to see it in person but no idea what rides have it as nothing in local inventory matches that color. When I picked satin steel, I didn't like the evergreen (too green) or the dark ash (too blue). Hoping this new color...
My original order was for a '22 satin steel Z71 Tahoe with pretty much everything including the bigger engine. No word on ability to submit since I put my deposit down (with no price protection) in Feb. Today the dealer pinged me to advise he can submit my order as-is for a '23 with no...
My 2022 Z71 build went up 1600 from yesterday. I placed order in Feb, it increased approx 750 since then and now this jump as well. Still awaiting allocation with no price protection. **** GM...hoping the new Sequoia comes out and is in my price range instead.
if you omit the protection package, isn't it more expensive to buy the components piece-meal from dealer or somewhere else after the fact? In hopes of having order accepted, had protection package removed but seems like I'm going to spend double to buy pieces individually instead of at order?
