The big problem here to me is whenever dealership orders parts for a repair that is due on any of my vehicles, they don't make appointment for install until parts hit the door. This is a service writers' failure.
Dealers will look at repair records and car fax on vehicles for trade in value of vehicles also prudent buyers will also check repair records on vehicle they are looking to purchase.

Poster said he had husky mats (Liners) I have Weather Tech that that don't perform well poster states husky are garbage then states to not buy OEM GM mats.
Also, my son has Husky liners in his Yukon that are great.

I thought that you had problem with Husky mat not OEM GM mats.
For a side note I have Weather Tech in my Yukon and they roll up at rear doors and they don't fit and also leak at push on button on driver's side. My son has Husky in his Yukon and they fit perfect great product.
Being vehicle is under warranty I would only use AC filters and oil that is called for in owner's manual.
I would not give dealer a reason to denied warranty claim since there is known valve train problems.
