    Flickering lights

Ok thanks. Quick look on Autozone and a battery is like $200 now so I'm gonna swap in the one from my Burb to see if anything changes. I'm gonna replace the ground to the under hood fuse box even thought it tested good and see what happens. I feel like it's something with the fuse box since...

    Flickering lights

Hey everyone. So I've been dealing with flickering lights for the past few months on my 08 Yukon and so far haven't been able to figure them out. All the exterior and interior lights flicker and I believe the dash lights flicker also so pretty much the entire truck. I replaced all the battery...

Also as an FYI. When my original exhaust starting rotting out back in the winter it sounded exactly like a failed lifter tap until it warmed up. Had me pissed for a few months thinking the new lifters I put in last year with the AFM delete where starting to fail.

Amazon. That's another reason I went with this kit, It was the easiest one to get with free shipping. I wanted the Borla kit but could only find it on small business websites who said they had it in stock but when ordered couldn't deliver it.

You mean up front where it connects to the y pipe with the cats right? It's a ball and socket joint that a big fat clamp bolts over.

Here's the finished product. A little louder on start up than I wanted to go but I'll get used to it. It's pretty quiet when driving except when I get on the gas a bit. I'll try and get a video when driving.

So I ended up getting the Corsa kit. Looks much beefier than the stock exhaust. Gonna try and get it installed later this week and I'll post a video of the sound..

Slow Crank When Engine Hot: Replace Battery Cables?

A purge and seal test would be a good idea to make sure the evap system is functioning properly. After that I would say definitely check fuel delivery to the engine..

Purchased a 2007 Yukon XL, now to make it reliable!

That's the parking brake. I've never replaced them on my trucks.

Borla discontinued the kit...looking into Magnaflow that Foggy recommended...I guess our trucks are getting pretty old that stuff is starting to get discontinued..

    Electrical problem

If your unable to comunicate with the truck I believe that means your CAN is down. Not sure if its the high speed or low speed that controls ignition. Bunch of videos on YouTube on how to troubleshoot. Common failure point is the suspension control module..

Well I tried to order it. Seems nobody has it in stock. I found a few websites that claimed to have it but when I order it they can't deliver.. Still looking.

5.3L cylinder head. Which side should be normal?

That's exactly what happens. If you're intermittently low on coolant and have no evidence of an external leak then there's only one other place it can go. Also my motor passed the cooling system pressure test. I can also guess that on mine coolant was bypassing the head gasket when the engine...

Yes. I took the opportunity to do a D.O.D. delete.

Looks a lot like mine did when I had a bad p/s head gasket. D/S P/S

Rain water leak in both front doors

Best way I've found to find water leaks on the doors is to remove the door panel and foam insulation and have someone spray the door with a strong hose nozzle from the outside while your in the truck. That way you can see exactly where it's leaking.

Rain water leak in both front doors

Make sure you check your mirror seals..Body shops like to leaves these out when doing repairs. They dry out also.
