I agree that locker/limited slip G80 should of grabbed. I jacked up the rear and spun the wheel with my hands and that bad boy locked up. Not sure if it is warm and doesn’t operate under heavy load. Not sure if the G80 needs rebuilding at some time. Thanks friend. :-)
I am seriously thinking about replacing the entire encoder motor like you did Rather than paying for the computer checker. It just seems like that is the problem. And the cost of it doesn’t break the bank. Worst case I would have paid for a new encoder motor for nothing
The part you spoke of last is not in the encoder motor correct that is the part that the encoder motor turns inside to transfer case I believe is that right
All good info. Sorry I forgot to say I replaced the 4wd switches. It was so easy I had to go ahead and change it. I also sanded the wire connection so I should be getting a good ground. Sorry I left that out.
Thanks for that. Sounds like same situation mine has. So you only had to replace encoder motor. That sounds cheaper than cracking the Transfer case open. I do need to find someone with a Tech 2
