    Cluster compatibility - Tahoe / Silverado 99-02

They are not. The 2003-2006 years were upgraded to a newer CANBUS style data system throughout the truck, which the 2000-2002 trucks are not compatible with.

2003 yukon denali electrical woes - sporadic unlock via fob not working, heated seats question

I had a similar issue with my seat heaters. Neither the driver, nor the passenger would work. The heater system is tied together, so if there's a short or fault with the driver's side, it takes out the passenger too. You can use a volt meter switched to the continuity setting to test which seat...

Need beta testers for a bluetooth adapter for 2002-2006 GM Trucks. You can keep it when we're done!

I'd be interested to test it. I have the factory 6-disc changer. I also have both types of factory head units on hand to test with. The regular one with the single CD like in your picture, and the factory navigation unit.

    Keyless entry

I would shy away from 3rd party systems. They can do weird stuff to the electronics and can cause parasitic battery drain. Stupid question, but have you tried replacing the battery in the remote? And during the key cycling procedure, you're doing it fairly quickly, right? Like cycling the key...

$5.43/Gallon. Driving like Grandma from now on!

Where are you located? My prices are pretty close to this at Costco as well. I'm planning a trip up to Tahoe soon and having nightmares about the fuel cost...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No no… don’t get your hopes up. This was a Dorman part. I’m down in Mission Viejo area. Only been here 2 years and still learning the area.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah the part came as the whole assembly. The new Y connector is aluminum so that’s a nice plus.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just finished the dreaded heater core tee connectors. Man I hate doing that job. The Y connector down on the intake hose was leaking so decided to do it all at once. The white connector was ready to break… it ripped in half during my struggle to get it off. Side note… does anyone know how to get...

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Ha. I bought that filter specifically because of that video.

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Hmm. Have you noticed a drop in MPG?

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Wouldn’t think the intake tube would cause too much of an issue though?

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Yep that's what I was looking at. Love that Amazon says it does NOT fit my truck. They're the worst with fitment compatibility.

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Thank you for your input... and for the intake! It's well loved already.

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

I'll be honest... I do LOVE the extra growl. Even if it's placebo, I feel like I'm getting something extra :P

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

How is the airflow and filtering quality in your opinion?

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

That sounds more promising. I recently replaced the stock air intake tube with the Airaid one and can definitely notice a sound difference so I know I'm getting more flow now. Just wondering if a higher flow filter is a worthy addition to increase it even more.

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

Are you talking about the dry reusable filters?

    Thoughts on K&N air filters

What are y’all’s thoughts on the reusable K&N air filters? I currently have a Purolator One filter as a read great things about how well they filter. But I also know with good filtration comes less air flow. Is the K&N filtration good enough? I understand they’re meh at filtration but have...

    Another Spark Plug Thread

Interesting. I heard people were getting a smoother idle with the iridiums. I'd be interested to hear your findings when you do the change.

Curious... why are you considering switching from the iridiums?

    Another Spark Plug Thread

Thanks for that. Seems like ACDelco/GM engineers can't make up their mind about which plugs are best lol. I think I'm going to go with the 41-110 iridium plugs. After rebate, I can get all 8 for about $25.

Gah… another part number! This just keeps getting messier lol. And to add even more, I pulled one plug to inspect, and it’s an ACDelco 6!

I’m fine with the platinums, I am just confused about which to get.

    Another Spark Plug Thread

Going a bit cross eyed trying to figure out which plugs to get. ACDelco has a nice rebate right now, but it looks like they don't make the original iridium plugs for my truck anymore. The manual says 41-974, but when searching that, I get cross referenced to 41-162, but I also see people talking...
