    E85 conversion?

Pulling on old brain cells here but IIRC, at a base level, larger injectors + tune should do it. I wonder if the tune is even needed. Theoretically, ECM should compensate and remap fuel with the O2 sensors, though you might get a CEL complaining about fuel trims. Little difficult on an '01...

    2002 Tahoe front end whine

Except that in 2wd, it will spin the spider gears. And once 4wd is engaged, the spider gears then rotate with the ring gear and from a rotational perspective - remain stationary. The differential disconnect works by decoupling both the passenger side axle shaft, and the front drive shaft. The...

2003 Tahoe coolant system leak or head gasket leak?

Before you put the heads on Lets have a closer look at those cylinder walls They look shiny in the pic. How are the cross hatches?

    2002 Tahoe front end whine

These rigs still spin the spider gears in the front diff while in 2wd. Don't know if that's your issue, but something to keep in mind when looking at things.

question on ordering front wheel bearing

Another vote for Timken tbh moog is..... Not the same lovechild they used to be. They're fine for bushings, but that's about it. And even then, it's been my experience that their manufacturing tolerances are goofy. Last time I got ball joints from them, they were manufactured so damn tight it...

Low Oil Pressure on Longer Drives

Chuck some 75-140 in there and run 'er till the noise starts to snowball Did that when my front diff was going out on account of the PO running it out of fluid. Got the better part of 40k out of it before I decided it was time for replacement

Low Oil Pressure on Longer Drives

05 Yukon xl engine temp rises at lower speeds, then drops at higher speeds, and intermittent interior heat

Check coolant level as others have said If that's good, then check for belt slip / thermostat operation If those are good, take a realllllll good look at your coolant. May have gone sour and plugged stuff up.

Under hood temps in Phoenix AZ. Cowl hood or vents?

PHOAT based over OAT that came with our vehicles Just a newer formulation Easier on plastic, less apt to gunk up deathcool style. I opted for this over other formulations as it's silicate free. So gentler on water pump seals. And it's a different enough color from OEM that I wouldn't...

Catch can - aluminum, screw together, with bottom drain. There's a thread here about it that covers it pretty well. Mount it somewhere cool in the engine bay, but not cold. Too cold, and all you'll catch is water. I have mine mounted on the cowl by the brake booster Intake - OE with normal...

Get to a known starting point Change all fluids - Coolant - oil - trans fluid. Not a bad idea to drop the pan and change filter / clean magnets - tcase fluid - diff fluid (lubelocker gaskets are great) - power steering fluid - brake fluid Inspect filters - engine air filter - cabin filter, if...

Under hood temps in Phoenix AZ. Cowl hood or vents?

Excuse my while I be skeptic for a sec What are you solving for? These rigs were designed and built in Texas(ever wonder why these seem to drive best at ~80mph?). Not like they didn't consider heat. My 2 cents: Convert to efans, while you're in there, flush your cooling system with...

Bazooka BOSE sub replacement, center console

Honestly, console is easy enough to take apart that you should just pull your own measurements Grab your cup holders, pull straight up Flip down the rear cup holders, unscrew, then pull the trim straight back open the lid, undo the screws, then pull the tray straight up
