Which way did you go? Belltech or Maxtrac? I am looking for an alternative to Belltech. I am not 100% satisfied with my Belltech purchase and looking for others feedback
Anyone bypass the lowering shackles that the shocks mount to and adjust the sensor rod to get right height? I'm questioning if my sound issues are from my shocks.
I still can't figure out chattering also hissing sound. It is a mix of chatter from springs or maybe air sound maybe from not...
Unplug the air supply line. Compressor will run while it's unplugged but it will drain the system. Maybe pull the compressor fuse to stop the motor from running
I talked to Tony before but we cant figure it out either. Between the spring and the frame there is less then a fingers gap between the spring and frame or the cavity where the spring sits. The sounds doesnt follow the bounce/feel of the vehicle. The sounds has me thinking the rear axle might be...
I could use some more brain storming. I had the original lowering springs that come with Norcal SS kit from Beltech. I was getting some chattering sounds and noticed how bad my coils 4-6 were rubbing and rusting away so I thought it was that. I switched to a stiffer spring from Beltech and it...
Well my info wont help because I want to remove my MAG ride suspension for a non-MAG ride suspension. I want to find the proper coil spring made for a Non-MAG ride suspension
I'm planning on pulling off the stock OEM Mag ride struts and replacing for Bilstein struts and buy new pieces to complete the strut assembly.
Question is what front coil spring came on the Premium Smooth Ride package? I thought it was RPO code ZW7 but I cannot find that code linked to any...
The rubbing happens when the wheel is nearly full lock left/right. Stock 22" wheels with 285/45/22 Michelin Defenders (happened with Bridgestone's too)
Now I look at the picture again I dont see how the aftermarket swaybar would change the position of were the rubbing is happening for me.
question: with the front sway bar kit. with the kit does it re-position anything to aid in clearance for lowered vehicles. I have Belltech front lowering kit and have issues with tire rubbing on the swaybar at full turn, not terrible but enough that you can feel/hear it and it will stop the...
Play with your sensor rods, a small adjustment can raise or lower the rear by inches very easy. Instructions said about 3" from socket to socket but I found I needed a little less.
Well this weekend I learned the factory alarm doesnt trigger when the windows get busted out. After all this technology you would think there would be a sound sensor to trigger when the window brakes and the alarm is armed.
Anyone know a good/easy system to look into. I'm thinking a 2 way alarm...
This makes total sense then if this is valid info and validates the three coils I was questioning.
Correct, this is my thought but not 100% sure if its a logical thought. I know when I load the rear end with weight the shock pump up to regain height to the desired sensor location and the noise...
Without back filling the details behind my request for pics, I have a chattering noise coming from the rear. I have been playing with the ride height by adjusting the sensors. When I set the sensor to the same ride height as stock the chatter is increased. When I drop it so their is more weight...
I have the plastic spacer in so I think that is 2" but if I don't use it I feel it would be lower and the rear would sit lower than front.
Or I guess I would put more work load on the shocks to keep the same height and not use the plastic spacer and use the stock rubber seat
Hello all, anyone with NorCal kit have a pic of their rear spring under compression from vehicle weight? Looking to see how compressed the springs are under normal vehicle weight.
Thank you in advanced
