Got the tune done today. The guy who tuned it said plenty left on table if I want it. Lol. My Yukon had flex fuel and I didn’t know it. Which is good because they have bigger injectors. Hopefully this posts correctly

The 5.3 started knocking Saturday. So Sunday I pulled it and got the 6.0 in place. Only thing left to do is hook up the y pipe for the headers, get a new ac belt, and coolant sensor pigtail, wire up the e fan harness. Will be running tonight.

6.0 goes in this weekend. Every stop I’m having to load it up just a little to keep the dinging from driving me up the wall. Have a wedding Saturday so I’ll start Sunday. How do y’all post videos on here?

Not sure. The nbs injectors are only good for 26 psi. The tuner had to choke it down to keep them from cutting out. I have some gen 4 flex fuel injectors and pigtails I may swap in. They are good for 36 psi. The trans has maybe 3k on the rebuild. I’ll put a corvette servo in and baby it. I know...
6.0. I recently got a gen 4 6.0 I was gonna build for it. Guy I do side work spun a cam bearing in his 10 Silverado so we worked a deal for this gen 3 motor. We put it in a nbs cc last summer. Bored.30 over lq9, shaved heads, 234/277 cam, 3500 stall, and the speed engineering 1 7/8 headers...
Putting in a btr stage 3 truck cam. Texas speed makes a gen 4 to gen 3 kit which contains everything I’ll need to delete vvt along with the connector extensions needed.

Lq4 or lq9 from a nbs truck or suv would be the easiest. Or a gen 4 from a nnbs and swap the things I mentioned above

I’ll have to swap the reluctor wheel from a 58x to a 24x. Use a gen 3 crank sensor. Relocate the knock sensors from under intake to the each side of the block and extend the cam sensor to go to the timing cover. And the intake swap. I think that’s it

Washed it for the first time since I got the wheels. Had some help so I didn’t have to bend down too much. Lol. Has roughly 294k miles on it. Motor is using/burning more oil than I’m ok with so I’ll be looking for a 6.0 soon

Got the spindles on last night. Turns out my I need all ball joints replaced. I’ll do those and toe rod ends before alignment. Set the toe to get me by for now. Track width is wider up front so I’ll have to get spacers for the rear also. Very happy with it over all

Spindles came in. Need to free up a lift to install this weekend. Also got these. Pnp led license plate lights off eBay for 13 bucks. X20 brighter than the 194 led bulb.

Finally ordered the 3” spindles for it. Gonna install and see how close to level it’ll be before I order coil spacers for the rear
