07 Yukon C0306 Service 4wd (most fixes tried already)

UPDATE; Some problems solved, and some new clues... * I'm thinking the light blue wire is driver's door light, will test and confirm * Feedback from new stereo is most likely due to the Kenwood HU over powering Bose amp, so I will bypass the Bose amp for the door speakers only. That should...

Bose AMP and GM RAP bypass

Thanks for the wire references. I have the same problem you had - feedback/hissing noise after installing Kenwood HU. I assume the Kenwood is overpowering the Bose Amp. I plan to do the exact same thing you did. I have my chime box installed from the aftermarket harness kit, and everything...

I will check it out, just need a full day i can dig into it. Much appreciated. I have skimmed this diagram a few times in the past. Having trouble making sense of what wires are which pins in connectors, and how it translates to what I'm looking at. Will do more studying. I was trying to...

Alright guys, I have a theory. Give me your feedback please. Truck displays C0306-02 (Motor A-B Circuit short to ground) Couldn't I just run my own new external ground, rather than trying to find where it is shorted? If so, any suggestions on best spot to run a new ground? I will be...

07 GMC Yukon Mystery brake squeal Or Hub Chirp??

So I checked with an IR gun after driving, and the quiet side is actually 2 degrees hotter than the driver's where the noise is. My gun was reading low battery, so I figured I would get a fresh 9V in it and double check just to be sure. Will update after I check with fresh battery. Thanks

07 GMC Yukon Mystery brake squeal Or Hub Chirp??

I'll grab the IR gun and see what I come up with. The rubber brake hoses were replaced, hard lines are originals. Still doesn't rule them out like the IR gun will though. Thanks for the tip. I'll let you know what I find.

07 GMC Yukon Mystery brake squeal Or Hub Chirp??

I can try a knuckle, although is has aligned just fine. I would not be surprised if it was indeed bent, but it does not look to be just by eyeballing it. CV joint is not rubbing, plenty of clearance. Tie rod is not touching the rim. Everything looks to be in the correct place.

07 GMC Yukon Mystery brake squeal Or Hub Chirp??

You are correct, and I have assumed the same thing. That it has to be a part that is associated with rotation (hub, brake part, bearing, axle, etc). Especially since it only begins to squeal after everything has gotten to normal operating temp - it's as if there is something with a tight enough...

07 GMC Yukon Mystery brake squeal Or Hub Chirp??

07 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4 5.3flex, 158K miles Bought this truck rode hard and put up wet. No squeal when I bought it, but front rotors were warped, suspension clapped, rear brake lines clogged, brake fluid reservoir had green algae in it. This thing was in rough shape. No Squeal though! I rebuilt...
