    Rear Axle Swap

I've seen them, and they look to be pretty good quality. People speak highly of them! I can't remember the name off the top of my head

You can also use earlier year 14 bolt 6 lug rears, but they use drums. That's what I have in mine and it's been great so far

Vortec 454/4L80e HD swapped 1999 Tahoe OBS

So I found a deal on ebay that I couldn't pass up. It's a Chevrolet Performance 8.0L (488 cubic inch) LFI! Was meant for industrial use, and can run on CNG, propane, or gas. It uses a Gen VI 7.4 block, but uses a 4.250" stroke, forged internals, so it's pretty much a stroked 454! Motor was...

I was going to say cam or crank sensor. I had a crank sensor go bad without a code. Also ICM is possible

Not just the cap and rotor, but did you pull the entire distributor out?

Did you replace or remove the distributor? Like exp500 said, sounds like no, or incorrect, spark

Do as I did: Vortec 454, 4L80e, 0411PCM swap. I will never go back. This thing is a beast

    921 LED Bulbs

Haha I don't have all of them replaced yet, but we will see what it's like when I do! I have 194 LEDs if they are too much, but I like overkill. Of course! If we don't share, knowledge is lost

    921 LED Bulbs

Of course not. I wouldn't use that large of an incandescent either, but being LED it's using less wattage. Only 2 watts

    921 LED Bulbs

The 921 is a 20 watt equivalent. I don't have all of the courtesy lamps replaced yet, but such a huge difference already. The ones I installed are 500 lumens.

    921 LED Bulbs

Not sure if this has been covered before. I know everyone tends to use 194 LED bulbs to replace their interior courtesy lights, but I replaced all of mine, including the doors, with 921 LED bulbs. Definitely larger, and much brighter. Had to trim some housings a little, but it worked! I will try...

I have the GFV pump. I did this research years ago, but from what I recall, the GFV was the better option. Has something to do with the sending unit not burning up during times of low fuel, I believe.

Always worth rechecking. I've had the gauge on dozens of times, and if not secured properly will show no or low fuel pressure, but then it's usually coming out the adapter. You could have fuel coming out the lines at the filter, but not enough pressure to get it to the rail. If no or low...

    Non starting 1999 tahoe 2 door 4wd

It can pump gas and have no pressure, but could be very weak, could have a clog in the lines somewhere, and wouldn't last very long if that were the case. Make sure you have the fitting secured well on the fuel rail when doing the test

What is the rest of the code? There should be two more numbers on the end. If you know you have spark, then check for fuel. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge on the rail, turn the key to the ON position and look at pressures. Turn key off and see if pressure starts dropping. You could have a bad...

Welcome to the forum! I'd check to make sure your coolant temperature sensor is working properly, and check your thermostat. Also, your coolant level. Easy places to start
