Got some used 20" rims and need to decide what size tires to put on them. Anybody ever repainted their rims. These have some salt damage to the clear coat and the black paint is thin is some spots. They look great from a distance but up close they need some help. Even thought about changing the...
Question- I did not notice this when I got finished installing the keys but now I noticed the brace for the keys is pushed back and not level up and down like it used to be. I may have done it with the tool I was twisting on so hard to get the new keys up far enough to get the torsion bolts...
I just put keys and shock extensions on my 01 and to be honest I have very little travel on my factory size shocks now. I raised it up 2" with the keys. I would say NO, you don't need the extenders if you are only going up a little. 2" at the tire is a lot less than 2" at the shock location.
Ok, I have done all kinds of reading and there are a lot of different answers out there. I have installed lift keys and gained about 2" in the front and 2" spacers in the back with a 3" body lift. So I figure I have a 5" lift total.
I have the factory 16" wheels on now with factory tires...
No, but Michel's is on some of our projects for PPL. I work for AECOM on the construction management side. We are doing T-Line rebuilds and Substation upgrades. I am in the Lehigh Valley area of PA.

I had a brake line that collapsed on the inside and would make my truck pull hard to the opposite side when i hit the brakes. Basically it would stop up the line on the side it was on and only apply pressure to the other side caliper. Very scary every time I hit the brakes it darted hard.
Questions:
1. What is the advantage of getting the Z71 springs and 1-1/2" or 2" rear spacer over just using the 3" rear spacer with the old springs?
2. Why would you use a passenger side torsion bar on the drivers side? I am assuming that you would have 2 passenger torsion bars, one on each side...
Get it found pretty quick. Mine had been vibrating at about 70 mph and it the transfer case started leaking. Couldn't find where it was coming from until I removed the actuator from the side of the transfer case and saw this. Cracks in the case at the stiffeners. I think it is my front diff or...
That sounds great DirtyHoe2002.
Do you think you can get some pictures of how they ran the exhaust? that is exactly how I would like to run mine with the tips in the same locations.
Hey guys. I am joining because I like to do my own work on my own 01 YukonXL 4x4. It is not my daily driver right now. I will be looking to install a suspension lift and some 35-37's. I have installed a 3" body lift when I replaced the brake lines last year. I will do some reading up front...
