well, seems you need to unbolt the top to access the clips that hold the lower grill pat in.. It's 6 bolts, the whole top parr, including the top grill and bowtie comes off. Ron

    13 Tahoe SSV front grill

Hello all, the inevitable happened, I bumped into "something, and the bottom of the bottom grill in the front, above the bumper, popped out. I tried to push it back in, but that doesn't seem to work. I saw some videos on youtube, on how to remove the grills, but it didn't show how to...

2013 Tahoe, front part of dash

I didn't see them on ebay that inexpensive, I found one in a good shape that was $160. I was/am seriously thinking if I should put a layer of JB-weld on the underside.. but ... that might get pretty expensive. Ron

2013 Tahoe, front part of dash

Hi there Joel, I bought a used/salvaged one that was in a really good shape, still $160, but a new one is twice that. I am also installing an XM antenna in a "pre-owned antenna hole" and want to route it underneath that panel and drop it between the two air ducts. I'll install the panel after...

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

I noticed that piece, a black bracket being rather large, and can't really get to it. I don't want to take all that apart, mess up wires, getting in from the "outside" is probably easier. Ron

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

Yeah that overhead console was in there pretty good. I think if I take the B-pillar trim off and the door seal out of the way.. I can pull the liner down far enoug to get a wrench in to tighten up an XM antenna. I wonder if that was done when they installed an antenna there in it's previus...

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

The reason why I wanted to take it off is; There is an antenna hole, about halfway where that overhead console is, and the outside passenger side of the car. (the hole is probably a foot away from where the AC controls are. However underneath is a bracket, (black) and there's no way to get...

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

Hello, Wes, so I had finally some time to try to take that thing off, but when I start pulling it down, the ceiling is what is coming down. I tried it with a pry tool, but it doesn't want to budge. Now I start wondering if it maybe is a different model that comes off differently? I hope its...

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

Hi Wes, thanks!! That picture makes it a lot clearer. I can't believe it is just 4 clips, like it shows in the picture, it seems to be on there VERY tight, but it looks like the same thing. thanks!! Ron

Rear, 2nd row, AC control console removal

It is just 4 clips? the usual ones that hold trim down in general? because it feels like it sits in there REALLY tight (and of course don't want to break it. (there are no screws at all?) I did manage to find the part number; after a long search: roof console gm part 15911919 Ron

2013 Tahoe, front part of dash

Hi Joel, Yeah, we had our first snow/frost here in the mnts, in NM, we had snow in the morning, it melted, then froze again over night, and during the day sitting in cold weather, in the baking sun. I think the material the dash is made out of realy doesn't like temp changes. (the corner near...

Adding XM radio, to upgraded NAV Radio in 2013 Tahoe

Ah, hi there James. I have the factory one (I'll attach a pic. I belive I have the wrong GM part, that antenna I showed earlier is also for cell phones etc. (cell, and XM). I'll look up that part number and see what I can find. (I think pretty much any XM antenna would/could work...

Adding XM radio, to upgraded NAV Radio in 2013 Tahoe

Hello all, I upgraded the standard radio to a GM NAV radio, it is capable of XM radio, but I don't have the antenna installed. I am thinking of doing that, since I want to replace the shark fin I used to cover up an antenna hole. I saw this XM shark fin antenna...

    Shark fin for roof antenna

I saw: "Are we talking oem antennas or aftermarket?" and "sooooo aftermarket antenna?" I think I can read, and what is written above, is what I read. Maybe you could try to write in, unambiguous, grammatically correct, and complete sentences. Ron
