Metal strips going side to side under the front seats. What's the point of it?

06 Escalades will fit in a 2000 through 2006 I just did it in mine and they bolt right up you don't have to do anything now I've heard the ones out of the Suburbans won't but I haven't looked at him so I'm not going to say yes or no that could just be a myth somebody saying they won't -

So I decided to throw the zo6 caliper set up out the window because the calipers cost s shit load and I can seriously buy a big brake kit from bear or one of the other companies for cheaper than it would cost to do the Z06 conversion. It's just really weird that it's a clear tube with liquid in it if I wouldn't have noticed there was Liquid in it I would have thought it was like a drain by the looks of it- Ryan Buck

I don't know but it's only on the passenger side. It's like a quarter inch clear tube with liquid in it that you can see through and it has black wire loom around it at first I thought it was wires till I peeled the wire loom off to look I should have taken a photo of it- Ryan Buck

The only difference is the 03 has a seat belt Dinger on the passenger side and it also has a weird clear hose filled with liquid coming out of the center of the bottom of the seat going over to the frame to a little black some kind of sensor box and there's also another sensor on the seat so...- Ryan Buck
