Haven't the Chevy infotainment designs been pretty similar to the non Denali GMCs? Is there any indication that it's going to be different this time around?
Surprisingly, of the GAS engines available for the 1/2 ton market, the 3.5 EcoBoost is probably the most reliable at this point. It took Ford a LONG time to get there though.
Anything over 20" is not necessary to clear any brake system that I know of.
However, if you want to maintain the 33" overall diameter for highway all season tires (ie. Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 and the Continental TerrainContact H/T), tires for 18" and 20" wheels provide you the most options...
I've seen this before. My guess is that if you had the Brembo front calipers and one of your front tires was not able to maintain air pressure, you would have to move a 20" wheel/tire to that position and put the spare 17" where you pulled the 20" wheel/tire from.
Are you referring to this?

FYSA, it's advertised as "+35% carrying capacity over OEM stock springs" but that doesn't mean the spring rate is 35% higher.
Yeah, it feels that way. I'm sure if I needed a car and didn't have a backup vehicle, I would be forced to buy.
But I'd hate being a position where I was forced to buy a vehicle that is just about to receive a mid cycle enhancement where the tech/infotainment system is refreshed. I tend to...
The Continental TerrainContact H/T have pretty good initial reviews.
What I like about Michelins (brand in general) is that they maintain consistent performance throughout the life of the tire. That aspect is hard for initial reviews to assess.
Whether low"er" profile tires are better performing both for the road and track is debatable. If it is, it's due to tire availability for certain sizing. But for road course/track applications, people are usually opting for a smaller wheel/taller sidewall with the same overall diameter that...
I think we're on the same page. 22" wheels are usually pretty heavy and the increased weight hinders performance more than very minor sidewall performance characteristics.
I haven't seen any factory braking system that requires a wheel larger than 20" to clear. In fact, there are a lot of...
Switching to larger wheels beyond 20" is really a matter of appearance, not function. "Performance" usually depends on tread design and tire compound more than tire/wheel size. It may be the case that there are more performance oriented tires in a particular size than the other. But the...
I think this is accurate. Robideaux is advertising almost $6000 off MSRP on their in stock Yukons:

The market is going to be in a different place for Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons in about 6 months. Heck, I don't even know...
Maybe it's a matter of relativity.
My experience is that compressors, condensers, AC expansion valve, and/or o-rings at HVAC line connection points tend to fail sooner than an evaporator or a heater core. I've never had to replace a evaporator or heater core before I had to replace one of the...
+1. This.
I've had an attempted car jacking experience - fortunately, it was quickly resolved in a manner with the least amount of "work". Your situational awareness is what will save you because action beats reaction every time all the time.
My SO and I went out to dinner around Baltimore...
To be fair: always be skeptical of what ANY administration tells you (but not to the point where you do the sovereign citizen routine if you get pulled over).
+1.
We're not planning on buying GM products next, but the principle is the same.
The 1/2 ton pickup market will certainly be oversupplied by Jan 2024. We're looking to place an order for a 2024 F150 in January/February.
We've put off our purchase of a 1/2 ton based full size SUV purchase...
