These motors stock are not high compression motors and do not need high octane (93) fuel. If you use 93 and the motor does not need it your motor will not burn the fuel correctly. Stick with 87.
In the past I bought leds, 330 ohm resisters, and used speaker wire. After they were soldered together they worked very well. I got the stuff at Radio Shack. it was pretty cheap.
I was reading my window sticker and the sticker says I have 3.73s with a locking rear diff. My buddy with a '02 Silverado said he has a one wheel wonder, his truck is a 4x4, cloth interior, nothing special...
So does anyone know if the locking rear differential an option and if so what trim...
The government must get really board while watching me, my hoe sees 3k miles a year...Where can I get the ambient air temp sensor cheap? Mine hums and I tried blowing it out and it still hums.
located under the glove box, there are two in there. I changed mine and thought I got an extra one, then i looked closer. takes about 10 mins to change.
3.The tires on your truck are one size taller 265 is the width and the 70/75 is the height- just more ground clearance.
4.You probably didn't reset the light correctly. I would try again. turn key to the run position not turning the car on, floor the peddle three times within 5 seconds.
I...
13ish combined city/highway, no matter how i drive. but i just realized that I always have my defroster on which keeps my a/c on all the time. I hope it will go up when i change some stuff around.
the manual says the front axel is engaged but the power only sent to the rear wheels. upon slippage it automatically turns on 4wd, i would guess it turns it off when done. the light doesn't change to 4wd it always stays on auto...so i would say set it and forget it.
there is two sided tape on the back of the caps, heat it up and then use a small flatblade screwdriver and pry, there are small tabs that hold it on too. But with the use of new two sided tape it doesn't matter if they break.
I got mine off of ebay. I think I paid $250 a few years ago. It only takes about 10 mins to install too. And the trans temp gauge works automatically. I didn't have the milage reset, I just put a sticker in the door. Next year it becomes exempt anyway for me.
