I have a 2009 PPV that unfortunately has the 4L60E. Had to replace that (sun shell cracked) but otherwise it has been great. Some suspension issues but that’s just me being picky and wanting a factory ride while lowered.
Nothing that special. My Tahoe and a buddies Wrangler at the range but I used the wide angle on the iPhone 11 Pro Max and thought it looked pretty neat.
In addition, I would second the long test drive. Get everything up to full operating temps and 1000% try hit some bumpy roads. My PPV is incredibly harsh, even with new struts. Still trying to track that issue down but nothing has made it any better yet.

That was going to be my suggestion. Stick to 2010+ for the 6 speed. I have the 2009 with the 4 speed and its the only thing I truly dislike about my PPV.
I’ve done a decent amount of what you listed and still have a horrible ride. Feels like the truck is going to rattle itself apart one of these days.
Since I just sold my BMW I plan to dive back into the ride quality, I’ll keep you posted.

Correct, the early 2009 PPV's came with the 4 speed. I think that its probably going to cost more than its worth. Funnily enough I haven't driven it for a few weeks and today I took it to the post office. The 4 speed really isn't THAT bad.. just the gears feel so long.
