    Looks like an 11.2 wide, that's pretty close. I'm not sure if I could go any wider or if the next ones up are too wide. That may be about right for my setup then

    It's definitely a 7.5, found the window sticker in the glove box. Not sure on offset though, I'll have to check that still. But with a 7.5, I can probably only go 11.5 wide anyway, which I would think should clear everything without rubbing. I may just have to watch the height. If 33's...

    I think I'll go ahead and do the DD then, sounds like it's worth the effort. I don't have controls on the wheel, So that might simplify my install a little bit. Definitely going with backup camera. I guess I'll have to see how it sounds afterwards to know whether I want to upgrade more.

    Yea it was hard to get a proper measurement with them mounted, looked like 8.5 but may just be 7.5 though. I'll take one off tomorrow and see what it says. Are 33x12.50 or maybe 33x11.50 pretty easy to fit on these? Or does it really just depend on what rim it is?

    Nice, that's perfect. Since you have had one for a while, does the screen have a good dimmer for night driving? I had a suburban that would dim, but stayed bright blue and was kind of distracting. The one I have in the '05 Tahoe now turns black at night with dim-lit lettering, which is great.

    '05 Tahoe 2wd, 5.3. ran smooth as glass down the road, no sounds, no vibration. Noticed rear pinion seal was dripping. Took it to a mechanic shop because I don't have time to mess with it. He replaced seal, good to go ... Took it on the road, and at 55+ mph, it starts making this bad grumbling...

    Wow, yeah it doesn't show that it's been done in the records, unless a random shop did it with the previous owner. I'll go ahead and put that on my list. If that will actually fix it, I may not bother with the tune on it.

    This one has the 10 speed, but it may still fix it. They wanted $800 to do the change, but if it fixes the shifting, It may be the way to go. It's at 90,000 mi, it may actually be time for a flush anyway.
