I like this! I used to focus on a number, now I focus on what my passion/interest will be when I am done with my current Gov job. I need to have something driving me and the general thought of retirement with nothing to do gave me anxiety!
In response to the OP, when we purchased our 2021 Yukon it by far was the most expensive vehicle purchase for us but we wanted something we liked, room for the kids and hopefully last us a good 10 yrs.
As for affording it, my wife runs a business and it pays for the Yukon, plus it helped with...
Overall it looks like a good improvement, I am not all that thrilled about all the shiny screens and gloss black, which will look bad after just a few months.
We have a 21' so the infotainment is different, but the wireless CarPlay has always been super buggy with our iPhones. I just use the wired and all my issues went away.
Our Yukon has several imperfections on the tailgate spoiler, I cant see them normally so I don't really stress to much as its plastic and will not corrode.
Sorry this happened to your truck, unfortunately, there are mindless NPC's everywhere you go, I have so many little dings on my Ram it makes me sick.
If it is not their property, they don't care in the slightest. Society is doomed
We have the 3.5 in our 21' and I find it just fine for most everyday driving and the MPG is decent for a V8 land barge.
The only time I find the 5.3 a bit lacking is in passing at speed, it can feel a little bit restricted, almost as if it needs more exhaust flow.
First off you are right to be upset and frustrated with GM in how they have been handling the retrofitting of their vehicles, that said, the issue you are having is the dealership and not really GM's. These days getting a quality dealership is extremely difficult, I have dealt with Ford, GM and...
If it had been my choice, we would have gotten the XL, but the wife likes the non XL for its overall look.
I say go for the XL, the positives far outway any negatives.
I would say that a good dealer would, I would check with and ask. I would guess they would be willing, as Large SUVs are still a hot ticket item, so that gives them more insentive to take your trade.
Glad they got it fixed for you, but what a PITA.
I did the update on our 21 Yukon and I knew it was going to take some time, so I hooked up the battery tender and ensure the system was connected to our home wifi. Seemed to be ok and have not had an issue.
I can attest that Mopar is just unreliable/reliable as any GM product I have owned. Will say the GM seems to have a better service reputation(from my experiences) but that is subjective to your local area.
I would own Mopar, GM or Ford without much hesitation provided the vehicle fits my needs.
So we have a local PDR guy that could fix that, his work is amazing and the stuff he has been able to repair is truly amazing.
Even if it was not a 100% after, I will still be happier than having it repainted, I have never been totally happy with any body repairs that require paint work.
Same! I know so many people complain about Ram and the dial shifter, but it takes up almost no real estate and the center console is much more usable.
I love the buttons in the Yukon and its out of the way and perfectly functional.
