They're buried between the frame/ front bumper cover. I pulled my cover to remove the siren and about 10lbs of wiring and if I recall they were pretty accessible. The drivers' side one may be accessible from the top if you don't have a second battery.

The problem with these trucks is that the guys "de-milling" them don't care, so you end up with these issues. They're being paid to remove stuff, not to put the truck back to factory.

clicking noise means your horn relay is working, so its in the wiring between the fuse box and the horns themselves. You're closing in on it!! Expose one of the horns and check for 12v getting to that connector. It could have been unplugged, cut, etc by the upfitters, or you could have bad horns.

I'd cut it back to the factory wires (get rid of the upfitter splice). One side of that wire should go to ground when you push the horn, the other side should go to the relay in the fuse box under the hood. I'm not 100% sure on whether its a ground or a 12v signal that energizes that relay...

It should be a brown wire/ white stripe. The manual shows a connector, but mine was cut already, and yours probably is too

Do you have one tagged 6J4? If its a single pair of wires (in the same loom) that are cut/ open on the end, then splicing them together should make the horn work. The upfitter manul says that pigtail is in the under dash harness, but mine was in the pigtail between the seats. This is what I...

I have a steering wheel audio control ?

I haven't really started this yet, I emailed with WAMS who sent me to the Harness Dr. I got the single wire that connects the steering wheel to the cluster, but if your truck doesn't have the HMI, apparently, you'll have to either get the full conversion from WAMS and the aftermarket harness to...

Why PPV / SSV vs civilian released models

I drive a pretty dangerous stretch of interstate to work every day. If I'm in my BMW, everyone wants to cut me off, tailgate, do stupid stuff in traffic, etc. For some reason, I don't have this issue in the Tahoe. Its the same color the Highway Patrol here uses, that might have something to...

    Correct Carpet Part Numbers

sorry, I was late to the party. I did this on mine. For anyone spotting this thread in the future, I went on ebay and found someone selling the right carpet (non console/ no big hole in the front carpet). The dealer near me doesn't know how to use his parts catalog without putting the VIN in...

The rear windows need to be programmed (BCM) to work. You need to go to the dealer, they call the software people somewhere, they burn a program for your BCM that turns the windows on in the back, the dealer installs the software and they will work. (so I was told, I haven't done it yet, but...

I have a steering wheel audio control ?

I'm finally getting back to this project on my '15 PPV. I swapped steering wheels yesterday. As expected, the radio controls don't do anything (I haven't upgraded the cluster, and probably won't) but the lights for the buttons don't work. The cruise works, but the buttons don't light anymore...
