    My Tahoe is like that too. I replaced almost every moving part in the mirror to try and correct it, and nothing worked. I think that may be how some of them are. Still functions fine.

    Thanks guys. Ordered the new pump from RockAuto for $200 (Delco) and my mechanic will put it in next week for $260. Not the cheapest repair but definitely could be worse.

    Tool man, you are 100% right. In fact I know I am pretty lucky only running about $1k in small repairs on a 150k mile truck. I am lucky the previous owners took good care of her, evident by the Amsoil stickers.

    Most of the automotive journals are saying it's (the 2500 above) one of the ugliest trucks ever made. Sadly I have to agree. Hopefully they hear the critics before production! The Tahoe on the other hand is looking great! I hope they go away from this trendy "split-design" headlight assembly...
