I agree with your question. I think the nose of the trailer could come down a bit. When I setup the hitch they say to ensure the air ride/leveling system is disabled and setup from there. Once the leveling took effect the nose of the trailer was a little high. That said, I think when driving...
My MOM asked if I bought them on amazon... should give you an idea about how I feel about them lol. I like the light though, appearance wise they look like an after thought.
Hi all - quick update on the camper situation. I ended up finding a camper a little more in the weight range for the Yukon to pull, so ended up with a Keystone Passport GT 2950BH. Dry weight for the rig is about 6200lbs with around 700lbs of tongue weight, 34' long and I am running an E2...
Thank you! I assumed it was going to be on the tipping edge. I'll message you separately on the Forest River Brand. Found some nice looking ones close to me.
I am looking at buying a travel trailer to put on our lot up north to use during the summer for a couple years while we work on building a cabin. I don't plan to tow the trailer far, however, I may end up buying one out of state of 100-200 miles from where we will ultimately put it. It will...
I saw my first one in traffic yesterday. In stock form I felt it was underwhelming in the appearance department. Stock tires looked like pencils. That's not to say it isn't a badass ride, I was just expecting it to have a much better street presence than it did. I imagine with the right...
No lift or trimming needed. I have Air ride as well. They are the stock 33" height but slightly wider. The wheels also have a slightly different offset that allows them to sit closer to the outside of the wheel well but the entire setup is close to stock. I did actually swap tires though to...
I had the same experience with Apple maps. I flew out to MI to buy a boat in the UP. Rented a truck and drove over night to get home with the boat. Apple maps took me off the highway down 3 miles of dirt road and planted me right back on the same highway....LOL
What does the install entail? Or is it plug and play thought the USB-C port?
Edit - I just decided to read how it works LOL. Seems interesting, sort of want to try it for my kids to see if they can watch a movie on the dash...
Does the price include the vehicle or is that the price adder to the vehicle price? I am guessing the latter but not sure. If it is, then they must have some premium crack over at Yenko...
My 2022 Yukon automatically mutes the radio upon start up. Sometimes the radio comes on for a minute and then mutes itself. I have to either change the radio station or cycle the radio power button to get the audio to come back. Does the same with carplay as well. Anyone else have this issue?
Order the Reserve Package. Comes with all options with the exception of the RSE which is not included. I also did not want RSE because my kids kick the seats from time to time so giving them a $2K target wasn't a smart idea.
My dealer lists them on the website for $5K over stick, however, that is for vehicles that are already spoken for however, they are selling them at MSRP (they do it as a deterrent and to slow the phone calls down on a vehicle that is unavailable).
Well, I finally swapped out my Toyos for a set of BFG KO2's a month or so ago. I went with a stock size 275/60/20 on the Fuel wheels. Ride is SO much better and quiet compared to the Toyos. The BFG's are a D rate tire so still a bit firmer ride but night and day difference compared to the E...
A lower positive offset moves the wheel spokes away from the caliper. The closer you get to '0' the further away from the caliper you will get and the further out the wheel will stick from the wheel well, and then below '0' into negative territory is when they really start to stick out. This...
I spoke with my dealer at length about this and you will need an aftermarket controller unfortunately. Unless they have come out with a way to integrate the controller after the fact (as of February 2022 they couldn't). It sucks, that's why I passed on a few different incoming Denali's and...
I agree on this. Also mileage with the A/C on is absolutely atrocious. I run non-oxy 91 in mine since I don't do much driving and it's a noticeable difference when the A/C is on.
Did you have the A/C running? The truck will not shut off if the A/C is on when you come to a stop. Also, assuming you have the right frequency TPMS then a quick stop at a dealer or tire shop they should be able to program them to the vehicle in a few minutes. You need the 433 mhz TPMS...
