What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Meh... Looks like the damn clunking is actually still there. :banghead: I've checked and rechecked pretty much all I can under there and I can't find anything loose anywhere. Sway bar end links are tight, exhaust is now properly hung, shocks are good etc. etc. The clunk sounds sort of hollow...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Found one rubber exhaust hanger worked itself off the exhaust and just hanging there. Attachd it back to the exhaust and finally the occasional annoying clunking from he passenger rear is gone.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Don’t know. Got rid of the Tahoe in late September. IMO, the front pads were a bit dusty for being ceramic, but other than that they did perfom fine until we sold it. I’ll definitely consider something similar when the new Tahoe needs brakes.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That’s exactly what it was. And I’m an idiot... The guy had it in a 2009 Silverado and that still has the separate MAF housing, hence the couple was pushed further onto the tube. Now it’s there and looking and sounding good.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Good point. Kinda doubt it, but I’ll to check tomorrow. Like kbuskill above, I’m too lazy to walk to the garage. LOL! The MAF/airbox look the same in this pic and that Airaid seems to be fitting just fine. There has to be a simple explanation to this. Need to look at it again tomorrow with...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Okay, gentlemen... Riddle me this. I bought a used Airaid 200-966 MIT for my wife’s Tahoe from a member at a GM truck site. Received it today and went to install it and the silicone couple on the MAF side is about an inch too short. Tried fitting it in various different ways, but to no avail...

Looking to buy 1st Tahoe or Tahoe and have some questions

Good advice already and I’d just add that which ever model you choose, just make sure you disable the AFM asap. Useless thing that’s nothing but a pain in the ass.

Meh... Rather than waiting, I did another chat and now I got everything in the email.

New Tahoe owner with a few questions

I just did the chat regarding the Build Sheet for my wife's new Tahoe and got an email from them just a few minutes later. The Build Sheet attachment was missing, though. :banghead: Replied to the email asking them to re-send it, this time WITH the attachment. Let's see if it works.

    2011 Cadillac Escalade 6.2L AWD

+1 for above. Even though the truck runs good now, that might change some time down the road, so disable it asap. You'll be better off.

    Considering a 2014 or maybe a 2015 Tahoe

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/thinking-of-buying-a-07-14-nnbs-tahoe-suburban-look-here.61720/ IMO, first year of any new model is usually the worst, so I would personally avoid 2015s. And as far as I've heard and read, the K2xx trucks and SUVs have all kinds of issues, so out of the...

new guy here looking for help

Sounds like you dodged a bullet there. I've also wasted plenty of gas and time to go look at something that turns out to be a POS due to the seller lying about their stuff. Sucks, but sometimes they turn out to be gems, too. The way I see it is that nothing ventured, nothing gained.

    2008 Tahoe Elctrical issues.

Also make sure your battery is properly charged and the alternator is working properly. They could create all kinds of headaches, too.

New Tahoe owner with a few questions

Nice looking ride. I love that style LTZ wheels. Too bad people are asking ridiculous amounts of money for used sets. Otherwise I'd have them on my wife's Tahoe, too. When she had her 07 LTZ, I was trying to find them for a couple of years. Even bought a couple of sets but upon further...

Considering buying used 2013/2014 or 2015 Yukon or Tahoe

    1) That depends on a lot of things, but mostly on the driving style and the maintenance the truck receives and, almost more importantly, on the service/care it has received and will receive in the future from you. 2) Depends on what you feel comfortable with and what the truck looks/feels like...

    new key fob

Not really sure what there really is to elaborate. Just buy an Escalade key fob, program it and you are good to go. If you want to read more about it, I guess this thread should give you all the info you need. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-keyfob-on-a-yukon.32601/

FS: OEM non-navi stereo head unit from 2010 Tahoe

This is from my wife's 2010 Tahoe with Bose system. Worked perfectly fine when removed a few weeks ago to replace it with a Rosen HU. No scratches, worn buttons etc. Please note that, AFAIK, you will need to program the HU to work in your truck with Tech2, or equivalent. $100 shipped to...

Getting Rid of 2016 Yukon Denali for 2009-2014 Tahoe LTZ

I guess it's all the engine failures that are being reported. I still think, however, that not all will fail and the failures are the ones that are making the most noise, not the ones that are working fine. Sure, the failure potential is there and I recognize that, but that will still not...

Getting Rid of 2016 Yukon Denali for 2009-2014 Tahoe LTZ

Haven't even bothered to read the K2xx section here since I hear enough about their issues already in this section. LOL! Sure, the GMT900s are not without their own problems, but at least at this point they don't cost you 50+ grand and have all the issues. After three years with a 2007 LTZ, my...

What kind of “warning light issues”?

Is this a joke? NNBS Esky’s.

Guess all that depends on the years you are looking at. My wife had a 2007 Escalade and that had all the features you listed: heated/cooled seats (front only and I don’t think they were even available for the middle captains in 07), heated steering wheel, power folding middle captains (would’ve...

New Owner with some questions - 2007 Tahoe LTZ

I would say no, but oil is the single thing that creates most discussion and especially arguments on car forums and there probably isn’t a definitive answer one way or another. There are plenty of people who will say Amsoil is the best thing since sliced bread and you can drive ridiculous...

    Trim Packages

My wife had 07 Escalade a few years ago and as has been mentioned already, the 6.2 is quite different from the 5.3 in others. That doesn’t mean the 5.3 is any slouch, either, but there’s definitely a difference. What comes to trim packages, of course they are moneymakers for the manufacturers...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That actually looks pretty good. Something to consider for my wife's Tahoe, too. The only thing is that I probably wouldn't trust myself enough to do the painting, and paying somebody to do it would sort of defeat the purpose... I would need to get a separate cheap (IF they exist...)...
